Armchair GM Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Bettis the Bus on Mike and Mike talking about a new NFL contest using Term FANDAMODIUM of course not saying anything about were term was coined or who coined it, Van Miller should sue them Van's term was "Fandamonium" this "Fandamodium" sounds like a cure for the diareah that ensues after watching your team suck for a decade...
The Senator Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Really, who gives a hoot? Forget freakin' "fandemonium" - it's sooo 1990's, anyway. A vestige of a bygone era, IMO. Time to 'turn the page' - this season, the Bills are... CHAN-TASTIC!!!!! 19 and 0 baby!!!!!
BYGD1 Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 Van's term was "Fandamonium" this "Fandamodium" sounds like a cure for the diareah that ensues after watching your team suck for a decade... Exactly sorry for bad spelling LOL
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 Exactly sorry for bad spelling LOL Never mind that you both spelled it wrong. It's F-A-N-D-E-M-O-N-I-U-M.
PromoTheRobot Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 I would venture to guess Van Miller did not invent the word "fandemonium." I think it was used before he started using it. PTR
BYGD1 Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 You Guess and You Think, I stand corrected then LOL
PromoTheRobot Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 You Guess and You Think, I stand corrected then LOL It's an opinion, not a correction. PTR
BYGD1 Posted February 3, 2010 Author Posted February 3, 2010 It's an opinion, not a correction. PTR Van Miller Signature calls include: "Fandemonium" – often referring to the celebrations after big Bills wins, and "Do you believe it?" after an exciting and often game-changing play. Miller also had a custom-made routine he used when being interviewed on radio shows, in which he called a fictional game in which the host of the show carries the ball just short of the end zone only to fumble on the goal line, after which Miller mocked anguish. Van has a son, Van Miller Jr. a daughter, Catherine Miller, 3 grandchildren. Harrison Miller (Colorado) Lon Miller (Florida) and Leann Miller (Florida) along with 4 great-grandchildren who also reside in Florida
Chandemonium Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 When the Bills make their triumphant return to the playoffs under coach Gailey, a new era of fandemonium will return to the Ralph, and Van Miller will make a guest appearance in the broadcast booth to declare a state of CHAN-demonium in Bills Nation.

Yeah, "It's FAN-DEMONIUM!" is undisputedly one of Van's signature calls, which by no means implies that Miller was the first to say it. (Unless you think Phil Rizzuto was the very first person ever to utter, "Holy Cow!" )

CountDorkula Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 My favorite Bills call ever was in a game against Miami a few years back it did not sell out... "If you weren't her today, you should have been"
