macaroni Posted February 2, 2010 Posted February 2, 2010 Okay, maybe it's a little harsh, but just what did the Pill accomplish as a Bill or for the Bills other than a meaningless TD pass in SB 26? He's done little more than occupy a void. That's my oberservation and opinion. Good coaches find a way to get stuff done and we just didn't see that with the Pill. Again....great guy though... AVP wasn't nearly as gifted as Kelly ..... or Frank Reich for that matter ..... as a matter of fact the reason he stayed on with the Bills was not his ability to play football but that he was "football smart". You are right he does not have illustrious accomplishments as a player .... never led us to a championship .. but he did have promise as a coach. I also agree that good coaches find a way to get things done but in AVP's situation he wasn't even given the time to develop as a coach, let alone a "good coach".
