Vick & Porter

yes, we could go wrong by signing both, and mortgaging the future on the present. Porter is on the downside, and is high priced, vick has spotty accuracy, is over 30, and would only hold back any young players we bring in, NO to both, build the team the right way, signing those two would be very DONAHOESQUE

Joey Porter gone in Miami, Vick being talked bout all day on WGR. Can we really go wrong w/ either?

I'm figuring they will hire Vick to do the same thing they did with T.O. --- sell tickets , I think it is a wrong move because they can use the money and talent else where on the team but given the recent past i believe that is what will happen .

Did you people not hear the recent interviews with Chan Gailey and Buddy Nix? Both of those guys talked about character players, low tier free agents, developing players, getting people who are coachable blah blah blah. Does Michael Vick or Joey Porter fit into that mold? NO

YOu people need to get over the signing of TO already. The Bills brought him in for his talent. Because of his talent it sold tickets. It's no different then what happened with Jim Kelly in the 80's. There is a thread floating around with the video of his first game as the Bills QB. The stadium hadn't sold out for 3 years until he showed up. People looking for a splash for ticket sales are going to be sorely disappointed. Buddy Nix clearly doesn't care what the fan appeal is.

Agreed, and Russ Brandon is not in charge anymore. As Buddy Nix said at Chan Gailey's press conf, what the team can do to win back fans is win.
