He is a very interesting prospect. He played college BB. He turned down a lot of money to play BB in Europe so that he could play football with the Canes. He had not played football since (I believe) he was a freshman or sophomore in HS. He had a very nice season and looked very good -- especially given that he had not played organized football for some time. It does not really surprise me too much. A lot of the good tight ends look like power forwards. If you have those type of skills and can catch and are tough, there certainly is potential for a BB player to convert to tight end (as we have seen before).

Apparently he isn't consistent at catching the ball... reminds me sort of like a Courtney Anderson (size wise)

High Mark Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 At TE I want the local boy Groskowski, 3rd round would be realistic.
H2o Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Greg Hardy has dropped off worse than any other prospect this season. Could've been a first round pick last year. This year he's hit with the injury bug again, get's manhandled by SEC OT's, and questions about his work ethic surface. From a guy who could've improved his stock to now a likely 3rd or 4th round guy. I'll pass.
Fewell733 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I'll call them freaks once they actually run those times with people other than their trainers and agents present.
