LABills08 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Is no one talking about this? I mean, if we are indeed switching to a 3-4, which signs were pointing to for a little while, they better get someone in soon so the Bills can figure out how to make that happen. Out of all the teams in the NFL running 4-3'sm the Bills might have some of the least flexible personnel available in terms of switching to a 3-4. They are going to need to totally revamp their defensive personnel if they want to do this. Otherwise our 3-4 is going to look like our no huddle offense.
BYGD1 Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 The Bills Must have someone in mind, but are waiting to also interview someone from Colts or Saints, before the Hire, Man that is the only thing that makes sense
LABills08 Posted January 29, 2010 Author Posted January 29, 2010 People are stating that bc we kept our D-line coach, it means no 3-4. But, Gaughan and others have stated that because we hired an OLB coach, we are going 3-4.....bc very few (if any) 4-3 teams hire an OLB coach. That, combined with Gailey's public statements, makes me think that we are going 3-4. But, who on the Colts/Saints would be hired for that transition? Neither team runs a 4-3. The Saints probably could if they wanted to..but don't. So, I'm not sure how the Colts and Saints have any implications on this. I think the FO might be concerned about how they can get the personnel to run a 3-4...and that is the snag.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Someone do some research and come up with a report on every coach who works under the DC for the Colts and Saints lol
HansLanda Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Or it could be Bob Sanders which will delight fans around the world.
Rust Belt Nights Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Whoever we bring in - we should make this a hybrid 4-3/3-4. Seems so much more realistic.

Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I would keep an eye out for Adam Zimmer. He has done great with the LB's and the defense. Also the son of Mike Zimmer from Cinci so coaching is in his blood
