grammer_police Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Tebow = God-obsessed, bust-written-all-over-him, palin-loving pos Vick = animal-torturer, jailbird, attitude-as-bad-as-my-foot bastard How about this... NEITHER Trade for McNabb, draft Pike(let him sit and learn for a year) and allow Chan to rebuild this year.
FluffHead Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 I'd rather have Vick than Tebow because Vick could be had for nothing, Tebow will require using a first or second round draft pick. This is just based on football, I'm not taking the whole dog murderer vs. religion freak into account.

DUTE Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Why not try and get both? Vick is 30 and can groom tebow since they are very similar in their style of play for both are scramblers and lefty's. But only nab tebow if he's avialable in the 3rd anything higher is too risky with all our other problems IMO

bkc Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 vick for quaterback tebow for spiritual advisior tebow can not play qb in the nfl
AxelRipper Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 im actually of the thought that they would both be on the same team... so maybe vick could teach tebow how to actually play nfl ball, and tebow could teach vick how to be a good person. plus they both have almost the exact same skill sets. that being said, i'd rather see that somewhere other than buffalo
Lt. Dan's Revenge Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Tebow = God-obsessed, bust-written-all-over-him, palin-loving pos Coming from "TEBOW-ERA"... Weird.
reddogblitz Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Tim Tebow - more upside and less downside
....lybob Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 if you are talking about WR/RB then Vick- if you are talking about TE/FB then Tebow- if you are talking about QB then neither.
davefan66 Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 If the question assumes their ability is the same, then Tebow as he would be a longer term answer. As they sit now? Tebow. I know it's the popular thing to jump on the anti- Tebow bandwagon. I know, it's easy. The odds are stacked against him as more QB's fail coming out of college, than succeed. But what if he is good? He has the potential to be a stud QB for years if he can translate his college game to the NFL. I say, why not? Just don't spend the #9 on him. Get back into the 1st round, early 2nd with what you would spend on Vick and take the chance he is still there.
HooperBills Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 bottom line, what does each one cost, what do the eagles want for vick(draft pick, money, players), and when is tebow around.....at the right deal each one might be a good investment, but what i want to see from the 'new' front office is quality deals.
