Stl Bills Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Who the hell is Lonnie Harvey? So apparently we have a 6 ft 3in 345lb DT on the roster. Now I'm not of the mindset that this guy will automatically be effective because of his size but I have to admit after doing a little research on the guy I am intrigued. Anybody know anything else about this guy? http://www.nfl.com/players/lonnieharvey/profile?id=HAR799282
Fewell733 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 we picked him up toward the end of the year. the guy is so much of an unknown that he doesn't even have a wikipedia page.
bills_red Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 1 quick search latter...... (that his phone number at the end? lets give him a call!) (didn't watch)http://cdsdraft.com/profile.php?id=3624
....lybob Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 He doesn't have a Wiki page but he does have a workout on youtube looks pretty agile for a big guy- guess he dominated at Morgan State which is better than not dominating at Morgan State but not the same thing as dominating for LSU or UCLA.
dgrid Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 http://cdsdraft.com/profile.php?id=3624 according to this site, he's pretty dam smart- graduated at 10 yrs old! Graduation Year 2009 Birth Date 11/30/1999
ACor58 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 His CBS draft page lists his graduation year as 2009 and his birthdate as 11/30/1999. at 6' 2.5" and 345lbs he seems awfully big for a ten year-old, but graduating from college at such a young age does speak volumes about his maturity and his character. I expect big things from him before his 12th birthday.
dgrid Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I expect big things from him before his 12th birthday. just wait till he's full grown, will be a MONSTER! Lonnie Harvey, the NT prodigy giant
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 There's our back up nose tackle, folks
bkc Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Harvey was signed after dicky j was fired. It was the first sign we were heading in the right direction . . At the very least he would be useful to practice against. Kind of hard to prepare for a 3/4 team with 300 d.t then go out and play 340 lbs guys.
bartshan-83 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Lonnie Harvey, you are a madman! When you stole that cow, and your friend tried to make it with the cow. I want to party with you, cowboy. If the two of us together, forget it.
jr1 Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I wonder if he has the music from the first vid on his iPod

Another sign of switching to the 3-4? Another signing, that occured on the same day as Harvey, was Jason Watkins. Read about this guy...I think he could turn into a decent player. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jason_Watkins http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/jason-watkins?id=79659

The good news either way the 215 linebacker days are over
