OrangeJuiceSimpson Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I was discussing this with a couple friends and we had no clue. Of 73,000 fans how many do you think tailgate before the game? Just curious.
FluffHead Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I'm gonna go with 55,278 EDIT: this is about 76 percent

Buffalo_soul-dier Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 hmmm...of 73000 fans...figure 15,000 wont tailgate....but then if you add in the people who come to tailgate then leave to go watch the game elsewhere...Id say the number is between 400,000-500,000 people or so...give or take

Chalkie Gerzowski Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 if this was the price is right you would be eliminated sir Bob Barker would advocate spayed or neutered.
BillsFanInLV Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 What would tailgating be considered? a) arriving the night before and camping/cooking out. b) arriving hours early to partake in drinking, BBQ'ing etc c) arriving early to have a few drinks, then go into the Ralph. d) arriving and hanging out a few minutes before heading into the Ralph. I would consider all but 'd' as tailgating. --In that case I'd say nearly all ticket holders tailgate. Probably close to 85- 90%

PromoTheRobot Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I used to tailgate but I can't stand stuffing myself so early in the day. Now I pack some snacks and libations and walk around the grounds to different people I know and renew acquaintances. PTR
Just Jack Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 I'm always amazed by the groups of 20-somethings that I see walking through the lots, each with their own case of beer under their arm, and wonder to myself if they'll finish the whole case before heading in, or leave what's left in their vehicle.

Hammered a Lot Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 83.74832% Being a longtime observer of the social interaction on game days at Hammer's Lot, I would concur with your number. Tailgating to me includes eating food not just drinking.
