IDBillzFan Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 O'Keefe and pals busted for allegedly trying to wiretap phones of Louisiana Sen. Mary Landrieu's office. Way to screw up big time, kid. Not sure what you were thinking, but this is just stupid as hell.
PearlHowardman Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 More importantly, I wonder what they were looking for?
/dev/null Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 More importantly, I wonder what they were looking for? Doesn't matter. Tapping phone lines is a pretty 'd up thing to do

/dev/null Posted January 27, 2010 Posted January 27, 2010 Really stupid if true. Kid got greedy. Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered. Yep In 2012 he'll be in jail and ACORN will be up to business as usual
IDBillzFan Posted January 27, 2010 Author Posted January 27, 2010 Really stupid if true. Kid got greedy. Pigs get fat and hogs get slaughtered. On the other hand, the MSM is finally giving him some coverage.

Chef Jim Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 now this would be worth Charlie Gibson's time... It was breaking news and the top story last night on the Madcow.
pBills Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I love it how some people actually praise him for his actions.
Magox Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 I love it how some people actually praise him for his actions. So let me ask you this? What is more troubling to you, that ACORN, a government funded organization was involved in corrupt activity, or that some 24 year old "rogue journalist" was involved in criminal behavior?
DC Tom Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 ACORN, a government funded organization was involved in corrupt activity Most are. ome 24 year old "rogue journalist" was involved in criminal behavior? And...wait for it... Most are.
Magox Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Most are. And...wait for it... Most are. Assuming you are correct, which I am not disputing or agreeing, which one is more of a concern to you?
uncle_chappy Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 So let me ask you this? What is more troubling to you, that ACORN, a government funded organization was involved in corrupt activity, or that some 24 year old "rogue journalist" was involved in criminal behavior? acorn obviously.
DC Tom Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Assuming you are correct, which I am not disputing or agreeing, which one is more of a concern to you? To me? Don't give a **** about either.
Magox Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 To me? Don't give a **** about either. Good enough. Normally I wouldn't give a **** about something that on the surface appeared to be as trivial as a weaselly organization such as ACORN, but considering that they do have many boots on the ground and do in all actuality play a role in helping determine our elected officials (see Al Franken), I happen to find there to be considerable more relevance in exposing ACORN for what they are as opposed to coming to the realization that some brash, cocksure kid displayed a serious lack of judgement. I don't know, that's just me.
pBills Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 So let me ask you this? What is more troubling to you, that ACORN, a government funded organization was involved in corrupt activity, or that some 24 year old "rogue journalist" was involved in criminal behavior? Both. Not a fan of ACORN in any way. And totally believe that this dumb ass kid should be thrown in prison. He actions should not be praised either.
drnykterstein Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 So let me ask you this? What is more troubling to you, that ACORN, a government funded organization was involved in corrupt activity, or that some 24 year old "rogue journalist" was involved in criminal behavior? Uhm... ok. ACORN did nothing illegal. There was an investigation, they were found to have done nothing illegal. Nothing. Nothing illegal.
keepthefaith Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 Uhm... ok. ACORN did nothing illegal. There was an investigation, they were found to have done nothing illegal. Nothing. Nothing illegal. Illegal or not, ACORN doesn't look like a good place for taxpayers to invest money. As for the idiots that broke into the Senator's office, they'll get what they deserve.
