Much as an ardent fan I am for LBs and OLs - they'd best make a grab for a QB.

BUF is what - 10 years out of the playoffs? Time to take another chance and pull the trigger. No b*lls, no glory, eh?... ;)

On the QB issue you mention, the decision to go no QB in this draft seems to be a good one. Bradford seems far and away to be the class of this draft at QB, but his history of shoulder injuries is something I think he PROBABLY will overcome (particularly if he has a vet OL protecting him) but is simply too much of a risk for the Bills if he drops to them (and trading away resources likely giving even less help would be crazy).

The focus here of getting the help in the trenches on OL we need with Buluga, an OLB player I like in Weatherspoon, and then on the second day turning to a cast of several players to build on the trenches on DL and ST potential players seems quite reasonable.

The Bills can roll the dice with a TO type skill player draft but we saw what this approach gets you and instead the fundamentals emphasized in this draft would be a good start by Nix.

2. if Weatherspoon or Spikes I'd do a jig

3. that would be a nice pick

4. going off the Board and taking Austen Lane DE

5. John Skelton QB 6,5 256 strong arm (yeah I Know Fordham) shot in the dark

6. dude you short changed us on a 6th unless you used it to move up for Weatherspoon in which case genius

7. when we get to 7 I almost never know the players

Can we draft a big, mean, nasty fullback with some skills with our extra 6th or 7th rounders? Any decent fullbacks out there?

Forgot all about the Weatherspoon kid. Would love to land him or Spikes if we don't end up grabbing McClain in the first round.

Trent Williams @ #9? Tebow and Lefevour? That looks like a simulated Madden draft.

The OP's is much better.

is Blount that kid that got suspended for the year for attaching someone after the game was over?...not sure I'd want that type of attitude on the team, but I could be wrong...can't believe how far Greg Hardy has dropped in mock drafts from last year...guess he should have declared a year early to get his big pay day...

I have a feeling trent Williams might fall into the 2nd round, or at the very least 25th and up. Scouts are questioning if he can play LT.

a rookie QB will get killed behind that line. no qb this year. go with what qbs you have, add a FA if one falls to you, and draft the lines and LBs, switching to 3-4 and putting in a new offense will be enough for one year. there will be no playoffs in 2010, playing the nfc and afc north plus our own division.. this thing will take several years to turn around. build from the lines out.
