Bills Fan in MD Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Wasnt he replaced by Ronnie Jones who Wade refused to fire, which in turn got Wade fired? Yes, that's right. A lot of people believe, however, that Wade held firm to get himself fired with pay. When he was fired, Ronnie Jones didn't exactly have many offers: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronnie_Jones Ronnie Joe Jones (October 17, 1955(1955-10-17) in Dumas, Texas) is an American football coach. Though currently an assistant at Martin High School in Arlington, Texas, Jones has served on coaching staffs at numerous colleges and NFL teams.
RuffMuff Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Never was mad at him.+ Replays showed, they got away with it. Officials blew the call, and Buffalo got shafted again! Great hire, he is top 3 ST coach. I dont remember too many Bills fans blaming him for Titans game, seems to me alot of us were mad Wade made him the scape goat. We were just lucky to get Bobby. If Chan gives him the weapons our ST wont miss a beat.
JESSEFEFFER Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Wade can blame it on his decision to start Rob. He can blame it on DeHaven's coaching. It won't matter to me. No head coach with two brain cells and two balls sends the kicker out on a first down play with 20+ seconds on the clock to make that kick. It should have been done so as not to leave any time on the clock as we would see happen on any NFL Sunday. Wade panicked and it left time for a disaster to happen. For Wade to blame anyone else is extremely weak.
Bmwolf21 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Anybody still mad at Ronnie Harmon? Scott Norwood? Tom Donahoe? McGahee? Yes, never was, and oh hell yes to the last two - but more at TD.
Las Vegas Calling... Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Bring him back! He was a good ST coach.
Campy Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Bruce DeHaven is our Special Teams coach now, anyone still mad at him? Considering he got shafted by way of an illegal forward pass, not only am I not still mad at him, I never was. If we couldn't keep April, I'm glad we landed DeHaven.
Spiderweb Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I don't think DeHaven did anything wrong. One of the players who did not stay in his lane was Jonathan Linton. Not sure of the others but the coach can only coach. Players have to do the job on the field. Memory seems to prod the name of Daryl Porter, as the one who left his lane...
billsfreak Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 I am still mad at the replay officials for f*cking up that call and not reversing it because it was in Tennessee's stadium.
timbuk3 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Bruce got let go by Seatle Seahawks with the Pete C. hire. Could Bills fans forgive him for the Tennesse playoff loss. Maybe this could bridge the 10 years and make everything OK again. I hope Gailey is at least looking at this. Also hope we can bring back Rusty Jones. http://failuremag.com/index.php/feature/ar...c_city_miracle/ http://ssreporters.wordpress.com/2010/01/1...-dehaven-fired/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_City_Miracle http://www.chicagobears.com/team/coach.asp?coach_id=18 http://www.strengthcoach.com/public/1263.cfm Is anyone still mad at Bobby April (even though he's no longer with the team) for letting McKelvin screw up the Pats game. He should have run out there and tackled him so that he didn't take that ball out of the endzone.
