billieve420 Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Football junkies like myself who obsess over the combine and draft every year. Here is coverage and reviews of Senior Bowl practices from Matt McGuire Walterfootball.com and Scott Wright DraftCountdown.com. Being a Tony Pike supporter disappointed to see him struggle so much on day 1 hopefully he turns it around. However, Dan LeFevour had a good showing and a guy to keep your eye on. All these QBs have question marks and we can't draft one in the 1st this year. I think the safest pick is going to be either LB Rolando Mclain or an OT Bryan Bulaga/Anthony Davis/Trent Williams. http://www.draftcountdown.com/features/Sen...Senior-Bowl.php Day 1 North http://www.draftcountdown.com/features/Sen...s/North-125.php Day 1 South http://www.draftcountdown.com/features/Sen...s/South-125.php

I bet they are both studs at the next level...especially Myron Rolle.
tennesseeboy Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Dan Lefevour of Central Michigan was the most impressive qb? I'd keep an eye on him if he falls to round 3.

daveydanceswithwolves Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 i would love to see us take lefevour in round 2. i know everyone thinks round 3 or 4 but after the senior bowl, he isn't going to last that long.

I thought he had some academic aspirations like being a doctor / medical researcher?
inkman Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Dexter McCluster and Myron Rolle...those are my 2 sleeper/surprise players in this draft. Little worried about McCluster's size. He's 165 lbs. Yikes!

N.Y. Orangeman Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 "Central Michigan's Dan LeFevour looked mobile on rollouts as expected, but made his receivers work on short throws and lacked any sort of spiral on tosses down or across the field. Cincinnati's Tony Pike threw the occasional deep out on the money, but sailed some passes high over his receivers' heads." http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/story/1...-first-practice "The quarterbacks had a rough first day. Oregon State's Sean Canfield lacked zip on some throws, especially into the wind. Central Michigan's Dan LeFevour threw some real wobblers out there. And Cincy's Tony Pike was hot and cold, throwing some inaccurate passes and hesitating on some throws." http://www.profootballweekly.com/blogs/201...ce-observations

inkman Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Darren Sproles V2.0 Dexter McCluster - 5'8" 165 lbs Darren Sproles - 5'6" 185 lbs One sounds muscular, the other sounds like Roscoe Parrish's twin.
Chalkie Gerzowski Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 i would love to see us take lefevour in round 2.
H2o Posted January 28, 2010 Posted January 28, 2010 Dexter McCluster and Myron Rolle...those are my 2 sleeper/surprise players in this draft. I bet they are both studs at the next level...especially Myron Rolle. Myron Rolle was argueably a 1st round prospect a year ago. I like him too and wouldn't be mad if we took him after the 3rd if he's still on the board.
