Glass To The Arson Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 *You will see alot of players on this board in both categories obviously because they can play in both styles in different positions. If we stay 4-3, these players are options: Ndamukong Suh DT Gerald McCoy DT Derrick Morgan DE Brian Price DT Everson Griffen DE Dan Williams DT Carlos Dunlap DE Jason Pierre-Paul DE Greg Hardy DE Sean Weatherspoon LB Brandon Spikes LB If we go 3-4, these players are options: Ndamukong Suh NT Rolando McClain LB Dan Williams NT Jerry Hughes LB Terrence Cody NT Jared Odrick DE Jason Pierre-Paul LB Greg Hardy LB
Glass To The Arson Posted January 26, 2010 Author Posted January 26, 2010 Who looks good in the 2nd and third round If we stay 4-3, these players are options: 1st rounders: Ndamukong Suh DT (wont be there) Gerald McCoy DT (wont be there) Derrick Morgan DE (strictly 4-3 but could put on some weight. Only 270 lbs) Brian Price DT Everson Griffen DE 2nd Round: Dan Williams DT Carlos Dunlap DE Jason Pierre-Paul DE Greg Hardy DE Sean Weatherspoon LB Brandon Spikes LB (6'3, 244 lbs quick, hard hitting ballhawk) I can see the bold players on the Bills

There are a lot of teams in need of a pass rush. However, if Morgan is there and the top OT (left side) is not available, then Morgan or McClain is the pick to make. P.S. 270lbs is more than enough weight for a talented DE. It's the 240 lb DE's like Maybin that you have to worry about. Spikes would be nice, but he is generally rated as the second best ILB behind McClain. With as many 3-4 defenses as there are in the league (I think 18 teams primary d is a 3-4), then I doubt Spikes will make it to the 41st pick in the 2nd round.
....lybob Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 yeah I had a post where I mentioned I'm seeing Mocks where Spikes is dropping into the 2nd round, I don't know if I believe it but if got anywhere near the Bills 2nd round pick I'd try to use all those 7th and 6th round picks to move up and grab him cause I love how he hits.
CarolinaBill Posted January 26, 2010 Posted January 26, 2010 Some top lb's have dropped in the last few yrs, malaluga and poz come to mind, so I would be pleasantly surprised to see spikes at #41, it's so early in the process def have to wait and see where they ultimately grade out, but i'd be very happy if we landed a top ot, spikes and Lefevour.
