kentonexile Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I agree, some big rock who never scored a point for 4 years but can keep his Qb standing long enough to avoid concussions.
Rob's House Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 Wrongosaurus. We QB fanciers are aware that getting a QB at #9 won't produce a terrific team this year. It will take time to build a team around him. We are also aware that picking an LT at #9 ALSO WON'T produce a terrific team this year, that in fact, we're most likely going to be fairly crappy this year. We just know that it is a lot harder to find a franchise QB than a franchise player at any other position. I wouldn't object to Claussen if and only if he a)he falls to #9 and b) The line is strongly addressed (multiple picks) in rds 2-5. If not him I'm curious who this mythical QB we're supposed to get is. Because whereas a good QB can produce behind a mediocre line, no one can do squat behind what we have on the roster.
