BfloBillsFan
Per Free Press of Detroit...Cleveland Plain Dealer speculates that the Browns may want to deal stud NT. He's a monster when healthy. http://freep.com/article/20100123/SPORTS01...DT-Shaun-Rogers? With Cribbs being unhappy with Browns management, would Browns go for a package deal? Would love to see both here. If you were Buddy, would you pursue Rogers? What would you offer?

lets_go_bills
Cribbs isn't going anywhere. As for Rogers, he has some motivation/work ethic issues but I'd love to see him in a Bills uni, he's a beast when he wants to be.

....lybob
At this point in his career I like Rogers better as a two down DT in a 4-3 then a NT in a 3-

I don't blame them. They've had bottom 5 rush defenses both seasons since they traded for him.
BuffaloBlood
I guess I dont understand why Rogers isnt a strong NT. Is it technique? Is it the fact he cant stay on the field for 3 downs? It sure cant be size! The guy is huge. Why is it that he isnt a good fit at NT?

Kingfish
From 2.5 years ago. Shaun Rogers could be at the crossroads of his career because, the way things are going, he's either going to "get it'' and establish himself as one of the elite players in the league or he's going to "get out.'' Head coach Rod Marinelli has been bending over backward and pushing all the buttons he can think of to get the immature Rogers back on the right track, but it might be a hopeless situation. Every time Rogers seems to take a step forward, he slides right back to where he started. Think about it - has he gotten any better since his first Pro Bowl season three years ago? Actually, he might be digressing. Nobody at Allen Park wants to even think about that, but consider the evidence. Within the last year, he's had shoulder and knee surgeries, been suspended by the league for violating their steroid policy and got tangled up in a messy legal issue concerning a stripper. Does that sound like a guy who is ready to catapult himself into one of the elite players in the league? http://blog.mlive.com/lionsinsider/2007/07...aun_rogers.html

bills_red
Why are they trading him/thinking about it? The CLE D was better when he was out! That is why. Ahtyba Rubin can in was was a much better NT.
Kingfish
You should also worry about the competitiveness of a player who yearns to return to Detroit!

aristocrat
i forgot about how injured he gets...let's take a shot at signing ryan pickett from the packers. now he would be great in the rotation up front
shoretalk
Read your own link ... the Browns run defense improved with Rogers out ... he just can't get it done any more. Toss in a provisional seventh round draft pick and it might be worth a trade but this unmotivated overpaid individual is not going to make anything on the Bills better!
