ofiba Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 i think marino went his rookie year. if thats what you were asking. Nope, that was his second year. It would be the first time a rookie qb started a sb.
Phlegm Alley Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Jim Leonard, the Bills' cast off. I guess we had too much talent in the secondary at the time to properly evaluate him. Having watched him closely this offseason, he has played extremely well.
Glass To The Arson Posted January 24, 2010 Author Posted January 24, 2010 You know whats funny... the Jets shouldn't even be in the playoffs... and now they are one game from the Superbowl. They beat the TWO TEAMS THAT LET THEM IN!
MavBavButav Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Nope, that was his second year. It would be the first time a rookie qb started a sb. this is the first time a rookie QB won a playoff game. Edit: Nevermind about this one. I guess its the 4th.
San-O Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Jim Leonard, the Bills' cast off. I guess we had too much talent in the secondary at the time to properly evaluate him. Right. Probably had to male room for 1 of the other 15 DB's drafted.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Jim Leonard, the Bills' cast off. I guess we had too much talent in the secondary at the time to properly evaluate him. Number one, the Bills aren't exactly hurting at safety. It is arguably their strongest position, along with cornerback. Number two, Leonhard is playing behind a very nice front 7. His play reminds me of how effective Mark Kelso was behind Bruce, Biscuit, Talley, etc. A good, smart football player but one who benefits from being on strong defenses (Baltimore last year). Always liked Leonhard but on a bad team, he's not going to turn losses into wins.
GG Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Reality is that Leonard would be the at least the 5th best safety on the Bills.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Big time play by Manning and the O-line. Perfect pass.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Reality is that Leonard would be the at least the 5th best safety on the Bills. I wouldn't go that far but I agree, he's not missed on the football field.
Glass To The Arson Posted January 24, 2010 Author Posted January 24, 2010 Whoop! I guess I'm rooting for the Colts!
GG Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 I wouldn't go that far but I agree, he's not missed on the football field. Byrd, Whitner, Wilson, Scott.
Numark Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 where is the Leonhard love now? Yea, what the hell. He picked up a fumble. Someone else made that great play, not him. I am not sure who blew that assignment, but my guess it was Leonard.
Kiwi Bills fan Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 NFL is yanking streams left and right... greedy mofo's need to give us an affordable alternative and I'll happily pay, but no way am i paying US$80 to watch the offseason.... Yup, I'm with you. if anyone has a stream that working, please pm me. Cheers!
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Whoop! I guess I'm rooting for the Colts! Funny how when you watch sports as a neutral fan how often there comes a point during the game where the emotional truth reveals itself. Sometimes it even reveals itself that you're rooting for the team you thought you were rooting against. One of the reasons sports is such a great past time.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Byrd, Whitner, Wilson, Scott. Yeah, actually that's a strong argument. Anyways, as already stated the Bills don't miss him. Jets get the 2nd half kickoff?
ProjectPat Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 TD Indy! Don't think Sanchez can come back from 10 points down.
Glass To The Arson Posted January 24, 2010 Author Posted January 24, 2010 Jets gameplan down the drain
bladiebla Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Yup, I'm with you.if anyone has a stream that working, please pm me. Cheers! This one works for me: http://atdhe.net/11246/watch-new-york-jets...ianapolis-colts
