vincec Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 The only problem with the Bills 4-3 is that they don't really play a 4-3. It's more like a 2-5, with two linemen sized players and 5 linebacker sized guys. If they just get some bigger DEs, they'll be fine. Granted, it's hard to find big guys agile enough to play end and rush the passer, but if you do then your defense looks like Minnesota's.
voodoo poonani Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 the only possible way i could see the bills switching to a 3-4 would be to get a dominating nose tackle. wilfork in FA is the only option i know of, I don't know of any good ones in the draft this year... otherwise a 3-4 won't work with the current personnel Bills can't afford Wilfork. Our pass defense is fine, but our run defense sucks. If we stick to a 4-3, we may be able to pick up some discarded 4-3 talent (like I'm sure Aaron Kampman will be this offseason) and maybe get a DT or two.
