Why not just get Tyke Tolbert back in there.

Wow, mickey Mouse club we have.

Does this guy have a proper drawl as well? Is that his qualification to be an NFL OC?

Or I guess he muct love Jesus like Hick?

Otherwise I have no idea what make a GT position coach an NFL calibre OC withing 18 months.

I bet he's cheap though...... Thanks RW/Littman

Well they really didn't.

Considering Gailey said he'd be the OC, they hired more of one than they originally said they would.

The proof will be in the pudding, fellas.

Settle down, and let time tell us the story.

With John Guy gone, and Nix as GM, I'm feeling much more optimistic about the future of the Bills.

And who really cares who the coordinators are? It's ridiculous to be down on guys that no one has any real clue on how they will translate into the pro game.

This guy's bio sounds great in terms of developing a strong running game; which is something we could certainly use as we maximize our strength and search for a QB that can lead this team out of the doldrums.

If you want to talk about ridiculous, I think anyone that salivated over Brian Schottenheimer was a tad foolish. Talk about not being proven as a head coach.

Let's wait and see who the replacement for Guy will be, and if Modrak will still be sticking around.

Either way, I feel that this organization is indeed getting a breath of fresh air.

We need to run the football... We ahve players that can run the football. Gailey is doing what he said - he is adapting to what we got. When you have 2 pro-bowl level running backs, the quickest level to success on offenses is building your team around that. this is not a bad move at all. a QB coach will be important, obviously, but OC in his system is not nearly as vital as the DC.

Dan reeves for AC though...

Is someone going to post this every time the Bills make a move?

Looks like it. And the sad part is that they still can't figure out that it's "their" instead of "there."

Here's some more info on the guy, knew Gailey from G-Tech.

Not that this is a big deal considering Gailey will be calling all of the plays. Still though, I guess you could say he had some success with Beanie Wells this year.

Here is a bit more background on Modkins, from his Ga. Tech days:

You all realize that this "offensive coordinator" position is nothing but a glamorous errand boy position?

We weren't going to attract any big name coordinators when Gailey came out and basically said he's in control of the offense.

Incorrect. The offensive cooredinator will be responsible for making sure everyone knows assignments on each and every play. That is a huge job in an complicated NFL offense

Maybe we can dumb down the offense for the OC

I have been following this guys career for years thinking....

Ok, forget it it.

I never heard of him.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Go Bills!

This looks like Overdorf / littman / brandon have there hand on the purse strings agan............At least Guy will not be the scapegoat this time ..................We seen this movie before with Greg Williams staff......Overdorf littman brandon again not giving the green light to pay for competent coaches........

this is basically an irrelevant hiring. people that get upset about it are just looking for something to get upset about.

the more important coaching job will be QB coach

Wow, I know they said Gailey is prone to hiring unknowns, but is he the only one who has heard of this guy? Hope Jackie Chan Gailey knows more than anyone else does. But hey, I forgot Chan Gailey was alive too until a few days ago.
