Mike32282 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 There's a small blurb about it on the Boston Herald Patriots blog: http://bostonherald.com/blogs/sports/rap_sheet/ DAMN YOU!
Bob in STL Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 This would be a bad hire, folks. The difference between the "Dynasty" Pats* and the fallen Pats* of late? Defense. Just sayin'. Great analysis. Not. Look at all the players lost on their defense first. That tells the srtory.
vincec Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Ya mean I'd have to learn to actually like them? ok No. Maybe Seymour, but never Wilfork.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 This would be a bad hire, folks. The difference between the "Dynasty" Pats* and the fallen Pats* of late? Defense. Just sayin'. Yeah...why do we want to suck like the Patriots*? PTR
Chandler#81 Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 i might pees my pants if he could bring wilfork too you're n' 8?
Wagon Circler Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Achance to hire a 3-4 guy who learned under Bellycheat? I would get Wood. Aaron Maybin will too.
pioniere Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Check this out:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dean_Pees Wiki already has him listed as new DC!! My concern with him is that he has had health issues. Here is another link, from Chris Brown: http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/01/23/p...oord-candidate/
pioniere Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Great analysis. Not. Look at all the players lost on their defense first. That tells the srtory. I agree. You think Belichek is going to hire someone to run HIS defense that he's not totally comfortable with? The Patsys defense needs to be re-tooled, and I'll bet if Belichek had it to do over again, Seymour would not have been shipped out.
Doc Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 This would be a bad hire, folks. The difference between the "Dynasty" Pats* and the fallen Pats* of late? No more videotaping and HGH? The Patriots lost the Giants SB because their offense couldn't score more than 14 points. And the last few years have seen the loss/erosion of talent.
earthtobrint Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 It would be fitting for Pees to land in the toilet of the NFL where other coaches careers have gone down the drain. http://www.boston.com/sports/football/patr...explains_d.html It didn't seem like he was in any hurry to jump into another job, but it wouldn't be the first time a coach has said they weren't leaving for another job and then did anyways.
FluffHead Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 update, kind of http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...s-landing-spot/
Doc Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 It would be fitting for Pees to land in the toilet of the NFL where other coaches careers have gone down the drain. Yeah, that's why 4 assistant coaches have already found work elsewhere.
earthtobrint Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Yeah, that's why 4 assistant coaches have already found work elsewhere. I realize that. I'm not really that negative. I was merely going along with the Pees joke.
Doc Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I realize that. I'm not really that negative. I was merely going along with the Pees joke. Oh. Nevermind.
Wilson from Gamehendge Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 update, kind of http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...s-landing-spot/ Though some speculation exists linking Pees to the defensive coordinator position in Buffalo, it's our understanding that the team that has hired Pees has not yet broken the news to the person who currently holds the job. Since Buffalo doesn't have a defensive coordinator, that would presumably remove them from the mix. So, back to Jim Bates and Chancy Glanderpest?
fansince88 Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Give Pees a chance. Thats all we are saying
Bob in STL Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 Wow, Denver is really the pit of the NFL. No coaches want to go there and will take jobs in Buffalo over them. Used in this context, statements like this are just so stupid, no matter what team/city your talking about.
papazoid Posted January 24, 2010 Posted January 24, 2010 dean pees on bills ? besides, he's a familiar name...so he's out..... we're going for the "no name" coaching staff.
