vincec Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Peppers is headed to NE he already played for Buffalo south. Frankly, I doubt it. He is going to be very expensive and NE has lots of expensive guys already + he has a rep of not playing hard on every play, which doesn't sound like a BB type guy.
youngjebrey Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 this is exactly whats wrong with this team. Chris Redman looks like a nice pick up when you have Hamdan/Edwards/Fitz/Brohm, but realistically he's not a no.1 in this league You sir, might be over qualified for a head coaching job for the Bills

JDG Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 Chris Redman looked good when he started for Atlanta. He could be a nice pick up to compete for the starting job I'd rather try and get Tyler Thigpen if we are looking to add another veteran QB - although my preferred strategy is to use our 2nd-rounder on a QB. Redman simply does not look like a potential starting QB in this League. Yes, I know, neither did Kurt Warner - but there's a hundred other guys who did not look like starting QBs and ended up not being so. Redman strikes me as more of a John Beck type... JDG
JDG Posted February 10, 2010 Posted February 10, 2010 I don't know why people keep suggesting RFA's. Thanks for the recognition. Great job with the lists, Dan. I know most people are failing to consider that it is very difficult to sign an RFA. However, it is not possible. IIRC, Wes Welker was signed as an RFA..... That one has to have Dolphins fans shaking their heads as much as the fact that they passed on Drew Brees.... JDG

Steely Dan Posted February 11, 2010 Author Posted February 11, 2010 It looks like Pickett will be staying in GB. http://www.kffl.com/team/17/NFL Packers | Pickett wants to return Wed, 10 Feb 2010 09:19:33 -0800 Rob Reischel, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers pending unrestricted free-agent DL Ryan Pickett would like to remain with the team next season. Pickett appears to be one of the team's top offseason priorities. "Hopefully we can get something done because I love it here," Pickett said. "My wife, the kids, the schools, we love it. My oldest is five, and she's in kindergarten. We've got a good feeling for the whole area. Moving's a big-time pain and right now everybody's comfortable. Hopefully, I can stay."
BillsGuyInMalta Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I always liked Griffith. Given the opportunity I think he could be a pretty good power back. Agreed, I wouldn't make him a top priority going into the offseason but I think he may fit Chan's system better than McIntyre.

voodoo poonani Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 Bolded guys are the one's I think the Bills should look at.http://profootball.scout.com/a.z?s=127&...c=16&pid=10 QB 1 Jason Campbell RFA 5 6-5/228 Auburn Washington I wouldn't mind making a play for Campbell. He has gotten better every year he has played. He threw for over 3600 yards while getting sacked 43 times. When was the last time a Buffalo QB did that? I know he's an RFA, but he may be available because many think Shanahan is going to want a new QB to run his system.
The Jokeman Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 McClain is better. See his Pro Bowl appearance. Richardson is better. See his multiple Pro Bowl appearances. And watch their games. McClain is a bigger threat in the running game. Richardson is a more consistent blocker. We might be able to land FB Dan Kreider as he has a history with Gailey at Pittsburgh and with our new OC in Arizona. I also brought up WR Bobby Wade, that I don't see on these lists but have seen on others, in another thread as he could replace both Josh Reed and Roscoe Parrish.
SoulMan Posted February 12, 2010 Posted February 12, 2010 McNeill is easily the LT they should be looking at. Keep Gandy. Clifton is rumored to be considering retirement. Gaither could work too at RT. Yea, McNeill would be, without a doubt, the best money the Bills could put out. Give him TO's money +
