Búfalo Blanco Posted January 29, 2010 Posted January 29, 2010 BUMP! Can we please get this post pinned? +1
Steely Dan Posted February 9, 2010 Author Posted February 9, 2010 It would be extremely cool if Buffalo could pick up Ryan Pickett. http://walterfootball.com/freeagents2010DT.php Ryan Pickett, NT, Packers. Age: 30. Ryan Pickett thrived in Green Bay's new 3-4. He'll be a hot commodity; talented nose tackles are rare and always in demand.
Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 McNeill is easily the LT they should be looking at. Keep Gandy. Clifton is rumored to be considering retirement. Gaither could work too at RT. McNeil is not a UFA!
billsfreak Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Pennington has a weak arm. He wouldn't make it into November. Didn't you hear Buddy say they need a strong armQB to fight the elements? Probably the strongest arm on that list, and not considering anything else, is Losman.
Drew026 Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Getting Karlos Dansby would be.......amazing. For lack of a better term.
jj____ Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Chris Redman looked good when he started for Atlanta. He could be a nice pick up to compete for the starting job this is exactly whats wrong with this team. Chris Redman looks like a nice pick up when you have Hamdan/Edwards/Fitz/Brohm, but realistically he's not a no.1 in this league
jj____ Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Probably the strongest arm on that list, and not considering anything else, is Losman. Campbell? Orton?
liverpoolkev Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Bolded guys are the one's I think the Bills should look at.http://profootball.scout.com/a.z?s=127&...c=16&pid=10 QB 1 Jason Campbell RFA 5 6-5/228 Auburn Washington QB 2 Kyle Orton RFA 5 6-4/216 Purdue Denver QB 3 Chad Pennington UFA 10 6-3/225 Marshall Miami QB 4 Matt Moore RFA 3 6-3/202 Oregon State Carolina QB 5 J.P. John from Riverside Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Gabe Watson is an interesting name
ChanOverChin Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 The Bills are not likely to go after any of the RFAs unless they can get a huge bargain since they will have to surrender a draft pick or picks for one. There are plenty of very good UFAs out there to choose from, except at QB. If you're looking to pick up FAs for 2010 you're going to have to look at mostly or even entirely at UFAs.

Canadian Bills Fan Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Thanks Dan! You obviously put some time into this and it shows. Much appriciated!
manbeast Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 I think we need to get much stronger here. I would like to transition Woods to Center. He would solve our problems there. I'm not a big fan of Hangartner. Too many teams get the big push up the middle on him. Levitre is ok. He proved to be a good utility man but was dominated many times. I cut him slack because he is a rookie but we need to get bigger and stronger here. judging what I saw at the end of the season we are set at G
manbeast Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Thanks. Well, if the team is serious about making huge changes they should sign one of those guys, JMO Maybe Peppers and Hangartner are friends. That'd be cool!! Peppers is headed to NE he already played for Buffalo south.
Ghost of Rob Johnson Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Campbell? Orton? Both restricted! Nose tackle seems like the one position that has some legitamate starters that are unrestricted. I'd be happy with Pickett, Franklin, or Hampton. It'd also be nice to see them either bring Owens back or replace him with Walter, Bryant or Chambers. This could allow them to concentrate on QB or OT, where free agency is thin, without leaving glaring holes elsewhere. Someone else on here mentioned Levi Jones, I wouldn't be opposed to that, this could hold over LT for a season or two and allow them to go best player available at 9 if both QBs are gone.

cåblelady Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Dan, Great work man... Oh, great. Ur gonna make his head swell.
todzilla Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Marshall is#1 Marshall is the #1 talent, but he's a moron, and a distraction, and one infraction away from a long suspension. I'd take either Jackson or Austin just for the team harmony. Not to mention they are both very good. And I know, they are all RFA's so I'm not saying we are getting any of them.
