Pete Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 hahahahaha I was trying to think of an example of a totally not-badass player, very nicely done. I think the only Kicker/Punter who is badass enough to wear a visor is our own Brian Moorman. Examples of badasses who should wear/should have worn them: TKO Willis LT Derrick Thomas Ronnie Lott Those who are not badass enough: Mark Kelso Any kicker not named Moorman Jay Fiedler BTW- Thanks, I feel like a complete tool for having to say "badass" so many times 129708 Martin Gramatica. Thats about as bad ass as you can get. Remember that old commercial with the NFLers grillin in the backyard and Grammatica was jumping up trying to get a look at the grill?
col_forbin Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 I believe mcgahee answered this in a question and answer segment. The reason he wears a clear one now is because the team wouldn't let him wear the dark one like he wore at the U. 129691 I think this a league rule now. I don't recall any player this year with a tinted visor.
gantrules Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 I wore one when I played. Only b/c I wanted to look badass. I had three actually. Amber, black and clear.
Fezmid Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 I think this a league rule now. I don't recall any player this year with a tinted visor. 130600 Correct -- league rules prohibit tinted visors now (don't recall when that rule was enacted). CW
Mark VI Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Why does he wear one? And why did he wear a dark one at Miami and a clear one here? 129442 Probably got them from his friends who are dealers......of cards...
Zamboni Man Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 Those who are not badass enough: Mark Kelso 129708 A visor with that special helmet.....you're right, not badass at all.
