duey Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I watched yesterdays Falcons - Giants game. Peerless Price...0 receptions! This guy was going to be the deep threat that Vick needed. Peerless was going to be all world with Vick throwing him the ball. Well, let me tell you...I can really only remember two plays where Peerless was the intended receiver. Where the hell is this guy the rest of the game?!? Think the Falcons are happy with that trade? THANK YOU ATLANTA FALCONS!!! WE LIKE OUR WILLIS JUST FINE!
DPR4444 Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Peerless was going to be all world with Vick throwing him the ball. THANK YOU ATLANTA FALCONS!!! WE LIKE OUR WILLIS JUST FINE! 129413 i watched the game also. Peerless was so invisible that the guys calling the game were saying stuff to the effect that "Vick doesn't have the help he needs at wide receiver............. Atlanta doesn't have the deep speed at receiver" etc
Yard Monkey Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 The trade ended up crushing the passing game last year when Moulds went down (we were too inexperienced and lacked talent beyond Moulds). With that being said it is really paying off now, since we don't have to pay PP big $$ and we have Willis to show. It is working out really well now! PLUS we still got Kellsey and look how he's starting to play.
Thailog80 Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I said it then and I'll say it again.......Alvin Harper II aka Peerless Price.
Yard Monkey Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I said it than and I'll say it again.......Alvin Harper II aka Peerless Price. 129431 Great comparison. Not a number 1, but a strong complimentary receiver to a #1
R. Rich Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 It's Drew's fault that Peerless isn't doing so well in Atlanta.
John from Riverside Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I am happy that he is gone because we probably wouldn't have drafted Lee Evans...... I think that Lee Evans is going to be a major player next year.....
Thailog80 Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 It's Drew's fault that Peerless isn't doing so well in Atlanta. 129446 who is Drew?
Guest Guest Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I could of swore there was a play where Vick fired a pass at Peerless and he ducked!!! Anyone else see that play?
Kevbeau Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I could of swore there was a play where Vick fired a pass at Peerless and he ducked!!! Anyone else see that play? 129458 Stupid Log In.....
Talonz Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I dropped him off my fantasy roster this past week... He has been one of the biggest busts this year for a player who has been healthy. Oh well, I grabbed Drew Bennett
BillsGuyInMalta Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I dropped him off my fantasy roster this past week... Talonz Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 OUCH...replaced by a slow, white WR! Take that Peerless. 129492 The funny thing is Drew Bennett has about 30 more fantasy points this year, AND HE WAS HURT!!!!!
John from Riverside Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I thought the same of Josh Reed after the 2002 season. 129463 I think the blinding speed will play a major difference in the outcome..... but I have absolutely no idea what happened to Josh Reed...other then he was never meant to be a outside reciever......
zow2 Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 To all those people that compared him to Alvin Harper (back when he was traded)...props to you! When you're good in Buffalo..don't leave. That's the lesson. So few players leave Buffalo and end up doing as well as they did here. Now PP has hurt my fantasy team but luckily I have Culpepper and the Ravens D to carry me through the tough games.
John from Riverside Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 On thing that Peerless did that I ALWAYS absolutely hated was how he alligator armed passes....... I simply think that Evans heart is bigger.....the guy has already been through so much......he has huge heart
Gavin in Va Beach Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Stupid Log In..... 129465 I dunno about ducking, but I saw Peerless drop a pass that hit him in the gut.
Fixxxer Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Peerless Price is a soft player, he doesn't like contact, do you remember his pathetic attempts to run block while he was with us?
B-lo Snow Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 ATL best receiver is Alge Crumpler. I dont where they would be without him. Campbell played awesome yesterday, but it would nice to see a top 5 TE in here to help losman develop. A great big target TE than can run lights out routes would be awesome for JP next year. Crumpler will be a free agent, but i imagine he will demand way too much $$$$$.
John from Riverside Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 It is my hope that a year of NFL seasoning with allow Jason Peters to come on strong next year..... He may not be a "high IQ" guy.....but he has ALL the tools...for a guy that big to be able to run like he does....man
