LandofwayJ Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Let's be fair, which way did you really expect Ralph to go? To him Gailey is safe, comfortable and secure. I never thought Wilson would bring in anyone that was too expensive, too bombastic, or too black. All he wants and needs is someone to call him during the week (after Matlock) and say how hard the team is fighting and how progress is being made.

CardinalScotts Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 I just wanted to get a coach who can game plan so we don't get out coached every week and we did that
CodeMonkey Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 can't have too many "comical" cheap shots at Ralphs expense threads!!! Particularly when by all accounts it was Nix who wanted Gailey.

NIX: mr. wilson, i think we found our man for head coach, his name is chan gailey. RALPH : never heard of em.
2003Contenders Posted January 20, 2010 Posted January 20, 2010 Actually, I don't think Ralph played a big role in this decision other than ultimately signing off on it. I honestly believe that Gailey turned out to be the guy that Nix wanted -- and Ralph merely gave his ultimate blessing. So, if you are unhappy with the Gailey selection, blame Nix.
