Wing Man Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Evidently, Schottenheimer wanted the job, but Wilson pulled the chicken switch. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...anted-bills-gig

Enemarty Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Evidently, Schottenheimer wanted the job, but Wilson pulled the chicken switch. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...anted-bills-gig would explain his son's reaction to our interview offer...
Fewell733 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 yikes. Ralph sure knows who he likes and who he doesn't like.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 You have got to be friggin kidding me.
MattyT Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 What?! This better be more media misinformation.
truth on hold Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Evidently, Schottenheimer wanted the job, but Wilson pulled the chicken switch. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...anted-bills-gig that actually explains a lot. the nix "blow your mind" comment and why brian declined us. good riddance too ... schottenheimer = playoff choke
SDS Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Now we know why Brian declined the interview. THIS is something to be legitimately pissed about.
silvermike Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 It sounds to me like Ralph Wilson just guaranteed the playoffs with Chan Gailey, because otherwise, there's no freaking way he lives this down.
NY Nole Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Perhaps that's why Jr. declined our interview request. I'm not disappointed in losing out to Marty Ball though, I think Gailey can get us to the playoffs and promptly lose just as quick as Marty could/did.
Sen. John Blutarsky Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Evidently, Schottenheimer wanted the job, but Wilson pulled the chicken switch. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...anted-bills-gig and so it begins...
Buffaloed in Pa Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 That is the brainpower of a 91 yr old owner.Get real
STLBILLS15 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Evidently, Schottenheimer wanted the job, but Wilson pulled the chicken switch. http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/...anted-bills-gig Oh.my.Lord.
ieatcrayonz Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Schottenheimer played linebacker four seasons with the Bills, winning an AFL title with them in 1965. But the Bills couldn't consider Schottenheimer a candidate because Wilson wasn't comfortable with him, the sources said. Maybe Ralph remembers how much Marty bragged when he first got to Buffalo and how badly he sucked then. Maybe he didn't want to re-live the past.
EndZoneCrew Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I say who cares? Watch all of these media goons who are pissed they did not have the scoop to try and discredit what the Bills are doing. The more Timmy G. posts, the more I think he has a hatchet to grind with the Bills, ala, Mike Schopp.
