davefan66 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 thurman tweeted that gailey has his staff in place already He would have needed the major positions filled to have gotten the HC job. Remember, they could not wait for Fraiser, why would they wait for Chan's staff?
Hammered a Lot Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Went to Seattle. As of Monday he did not sign with Seattle. Update?
MaineMoxie Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Right and what about the other half of the schedule that they dont play at home? NO and IND seemed to do pretty well. NE has had years of success throwing the ball around outside,....CIN made playoffs throwing the ball in bad weather area........ GB ? I mean cmon even the Bills in the golden years werent smashmouth. Actually, when they ran the K-Gun they actually ran the ball 60% of the time, if I recall. Not exactly smashmouth, but not exactly pass-happy either. I think it was a good mix.
Warren Zevon Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 thurman tweeted that gailey has his staff in place already I, for one, am so sick of Thurman andhis BS tweets.
K Gun Special Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Thurman=High school girl. pretty much all thurman does is retweet Fox crap and give hints about shhhhh he never explains.
Las Vegas Calling... Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Great...Campo? I bet the Patriots and Jets are shaking in their boots Good one! I don't think that the Pats or Fish have been scared of the Bills since 99.
BEAST MODE BABY! Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Jerry Gray is still out there. He did not do a bad job 2003 and 2004. THose defenses were HORRIBLE on third downs.
Hammered a Lot Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I, for one, am so sick of Thurman andhis BS tweets. Thruman will be on gr 4-6 pm today. What time are you calling at to B. Slap him?
kasper13 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Gailey already said his assistants won't be anyone recognizable. He is running the offense to start but will have an OC. He wants teaching coaches. Whatever that means. I take all that to mean anyone with a big name- Martz, Edwards, Gray and so on will not be here.
rpcolosi Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 ESPN is indicating that Gailey will announce his staff at his press conference an hour from now. well they were wrong on that... so far +1 for buddy in the truth department
rpcolosi Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 THose defenses were HORRIBLE on third downs. gray is the DB coach for seattle now
Bring Back Kelly Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Gailey already said his assistants won't be anyone recognizable. He is running the offense to start but will have an OC. He wants teaching coaches. Whatever that means. I take all that to mean anyone with a big name- Martz, Edwards, Gray and so on will not be here. You are right on that. No big name at OC, if he is calling plays. He would be wise to have a good Def Coordinator though. I can see Herman Edwards. I thought Mike Nolan, but he is now Miami's DC. Dont expect Jerry Grey, that wont happen he is now in Seattle. Here is a name to be thrown out there. Jim Mora Jr. He was a very good Def Coordinator. with no options left for Mora, He may come here.
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Staff? What staff? No OC at the current time...no DC as of yet. I am, as I was the past few weeks, still uninspired and thinking I made a good decision ditching the NFL ST.
FLFan Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Staff? What staff? No OC at the current time...no DC as of yet. I am, as I was the past few weeks, still uninspired and thinking I made a good decision ditching the NFL ST. My God - he has been coach since this morning and no staff is in place yet? We are doomed!
Pine Barrens Mafia Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 My God - he has been coach since this morning and no staff is in place yet? We are doomed! That was the point, genius. Now, there'll be no OC, so that's the part that'll stick.
Steely Dan Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 According to Mrs. Gailey his staff is just fine.
DC Tom Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Staff? What staff? No OC at the current time...no DC as of yet. I am, as I was the past few weeks, still uninspired and thinking I made a good decision ditching the NFL ST. "Uninspiring" is a step up from the past few choices. Still...!@#$ this franchise. I'm gonna go root for Miami.
