I listen to WHTK and WHAM mostly through my computer. I've noticed that instead of commercials they play music mostly between show breaks. I think I've heard a commercial once in awhile but I wonder why their advertising packages don't include internet streams? :wallbash:

It's partly a union issue (voice performers) and partly a revenue issue. Most radio stations in cities the size of Buffalo and Rochester sell their internet inventory separately from their standard inventory and at a fraction of the price.

If you're listening to nationally syndicated programming there's a good chance that inventory has gone unsold or is unavailable for the local broadcaster to sell.
