The big splash (not the one Thurman was talking about) will have to take place in FA. Take the $$ you saved (not intentionally) on the HC and overpay for either a QB, LT or DE. Go after a McNabb, Peppers or Mcneil and do WHATEVER it takes to solidify a major hole on this team. That and a successful draft with NIX could go a long way. Sabres are rolling and we just have to hope that Bills are pro-active in FA. The $$ saved on Owens and Gailey alone should be able to land a Blue Chipper.
