Fan in San Diego Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 The bloom is kind of gone off of that rose huh? Maybe the hot candidate de jour is not the best choice for our next HC.
drewfla Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Well frankly with the news of Gailey I would now LOVE Ron Rivera. Ridiculous.
The Big Cat Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I've been holding out hope for Ron Rivera since this whole thing got started

Rico Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 Meh... even though Chan Gailey is an extremely uninspiring choice (maybe 10 years ago), I would still take him over Rivera.

Thurman#1 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 The bloom is kind of gone off of that rose huh? Maybe the hot candidate de jour is not the best choice for our next HC. No. A very good career followed by one not particularly good game doesn't exactly scare me off. Rivera would be a great candidate, (Grimm and Fiedler too) but it looks like that boat has sailed.
billsfan714 Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 I would take Mariano Rivera over Chan Gailey at this point.
The Big Cat Posted January 19, 2010 Posted January 19, 2010 http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/index.php?...t&p=1689424 The 2006 Chicago defense was terrifying. Since Rivera left, not so much. They've suffered injuries, etc., but I'm just throwing it out there. I also think you underestimate the SD defense. I think they're better than you make them out to be.
