ajzepp Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I definitely would have a hard time getting excited about Chan Gailey....I'm still holding out hope for Marty ball
silvermike Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 That post-gazette article is all that's keeping me from driving down to One Bills Drive and barricading all the doors until I get some answers.
jahnyc Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I guess so. This will not go over well with the fans or the media. I wonder if he will be able to assemble a decent coaching staff or get the front office to spend money on some players.
XTC Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 So this is going to happen, isn't it? LAUGHING STOCK MEET THE BUFFALO BILLS, BUFFALO BILLS MEET LAUGHING STOCK. CUE THE WEDDING MUSIC. DONE DEAL. JUST WHEN YOU THINK YOU CAN'T GET KICKED IN THE HEAD ANY HARDER, ALONG COMES PELE.
Endzone Animal Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Holy ****...it's true! http://www.buffalonews.com/452/story/926904.html EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see it was posted elsewhere, too. WOW! LOL!!
Heels20X6 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 F M L Seriously...I was excited about Leslie Frazier...this...sigh....
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 This is the first time I have heard of this guy
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 57? I was kinda hoping for a younger coach but oh well I will give the Bills the benifit of the doubt.... They better have one heck of a draft
No Cease Fires Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 One thing I will say for this guy is that he's been a winner wherever he's gone, except for KC. Can't say I'm too excited at the moment, though.
loyal2dagame Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Holy ****...it's true! http://www.buffalonews.com/452/story/926904.html EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see it was posted elsewhere, too. WOW! LOL!! i think your avatar best explains what the chan gailey era in buffalo will be like
Ozymandius Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Whom should the Bills hire to replace Gailey in 2013?
FistingBot Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I'm still holding out hope that Gailey comes here only as Cowher's offensive coordinator. Yeah, I know that's not likely, but a guy can dream, can't he?!
ajzepp Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 They better have tried to interview Paul Johnson first then. There isn't one Georgia Tech fan alive that doesn't believe Johnson is a much better coach than Gailey. He's a much better college coach, but that triple option offense would be crap in the NFL
Endzone Animal Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Perfect, perfect, perfect Ralph choice. Nobody else wants him, he'll be the lowest paid HC in the NFL, and has long, long coaching history of mediocrity on many levels. BEAUTIFUL!
XTC Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 This is the first time I have heard of this guy Re-tread deluxe..........now let me hear you B word about Jim Haslett..........go ahead, I DARE you! Even the most hardcore Haslett haters would be lining up for him over this CHUMP of a choice. What a wussy, washout, garbage selection.
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I will be excited if he brings in someone like Billick as OC
Ozymandius Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 He's a much better college coach, but that triple option offense would be crap in the NFL Yeah, I know. I wasn't really serious about wanting Paul Johnson as coach (although my guess is someone as smart as him would figure out a way to adjust eventually to the NFL, given experience). Just pointing out the extreme disappointment of the thought of Gailey being the next Bills head coach.
Offside Number 76 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Re-tread deluxe..........now let me hear you B word about Jim Haslett..........go ahead, I DARE you! Even the most hardcore Haslett haters would be lining up for him over this CHUMP of a choice. What a wussy, washout, garbage selection. No, I actually prefer this to Haslett. I don't hate him, I just don't think he's a very good head coach. But I'm bummed that Frazier isn't coming to town. I suppose offense is a much bigger problem than defense right now, anyway, though. Maybe this won't be horrible.
