Nevergiveup Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I have reason to believe this is your new head coach. I am not completely 100%, but would not post it in this manner if I did not think it was credible. There are no links for this information. I know it will be ugly if I am wrong, but I thought you would want the information. Could be as soon as tomorrow.

So far Nevergiveup has been right more than wrong. Grimm turning us down. Nix named new GM. PTR
Offside Number 76 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 This is a name from left field, but at this point who knows? So far Nevergiveup has been right more than wrong. PTR I really hope that on this occasion, he's wrong.
dave mcbride Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 This would be an epic failure on multiple levels.
Endzone Animal Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 This would be an epic failure on multiple levels. Which makes him the prefect choice for Ralph.
SectionC3 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I'm turning in my fan card if this is true. Ugh. EDIT: AND my season tickets. I was hopeful that suffering through several years of Dick Jauron would lead to something positive, but it looks like we may have another guy who couldn't cut it somewhere else. I don't know if anyone saw the comments allegedly attributed to Ryan Fitzpatrick on another Bills board (e.g., Ralph talking into an overhead projector during a speech at camp thinking it was a microphone), but I'm starting to believe that the Bills are one gigantic mess. I realize that there are more important things in the world, like the suffering of the Haitians, but I find this very disheartening.
HansLanda Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Why not give it to Turk...the other O coordinator to get relieved of his duties in the preseason. This would be epically bad.
2003Contenders Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Head coaching experience, offensive-minded... It actually doesn't sound so out-of-the-realm-of-possibility. Not saying I approve, mind you.

Nevergiveup Posted January 18, 2010 Author Posted January 18, 2010 Not nearly as ugly as it will be if you're right. Now that was funny.
PromoTheRobot Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Thomas Chandler Gailey Jr. Offensive coach. Experienced head coach in the NFL, World League of American Football and college. 18-16-0 in the NFL. 64-40-0 in the NCAA. 12-9-1 in the WLAF. PTR

Not doubting you (you've proven too reliable for that), just doesn't make sense to me.

PTR He managed to lose a playoff game to Jake Plummer's Cardinals with Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, and Michael Irvin, huh?
loyal2dagame Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 hopefully what you heard means this: chan gailey talked about for cowher oc
Arkady Renko Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 He managed to lose a playoff game to Jake Plummer's Cardinals with Emmitt Smith, Troy Aikman, and Michael Irvin, huh? Weren't they at the tail end of their careers? IIRC, Dave Campo did worse.

Not doubting you (you've proven too reliable for that), just doesn't make sense to me. My guess, and only a guess, is Gailey knows Nix, he fits the criteria of an experienced offensive coach, and the Bills want to avoid the embarrassment of being declined again. Not sure what this means about Frazier. Did he lose interest or are the Bills anxious to fill the job? PTR
Endzone Animal Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Actually, my inside sources tell me Dave Campo is on Ralph's short list.
