Throwback Bills Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Ok, here it is my first post/thread: Based on our draft position and assuming no trades or wacky senerios. 1st Anthony Davis- Rugters - OT or Bruce Campbell -Maryland - OT 2nd Eric Norwood - South Carolina - LB or Jason Pierre-Paul- South FL -DL 3rd Greg Hardy - Old Miss - DL 4th Tony Pike - Cinn - OB I'll stop there. These are the guys I am hoping for. As for Steve Johnson, and James Hardy let them play. Maybin better learn the OLB postion.

Im going to pass on Anthony Davis, although he has a crap load of potential, he seems like another project IMO. I say you address the tackle position in FA, and concentrate on LB QB in the draft. im not sold on Pike though.
High Mark Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 That would be a sweet draft. I would prefer Campbell over Davis, but Baluga over them both if he declares. Has Pierre Pual declared? I believe he has one more year of eligability. Norwood is a player and will be undervalued at draft time because of his size but he is a great NFL prospect. Greg Hardy in the 3rd would be a huge steal. I think Hardy would have to go in 2 and Norwood in 3 to be more realistc. Its nice to see you put Pike in a realistc round, and didnt say "trade back into the first for Pike" like the rest of the board does.

Might be a system guy...He'll need a couple of years in a pro system... We already have Brohm... Similar guy.. But I like Hardy and Davis...
Canadian Bills Fan Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Jason Pierre-Paul has declared but I am not big on JR's. As far as Norwood, I wish he was taller but he does seem like a blitzing machine look at this scouting report on him.. http://www.draftcountdown.com/ScoutingRepo...ric-Norwood.php

So far whathe is best known for is being Marshawns friend. and having a great rep based on...????

Davis is a project, not worthy of 9th pick overall, Campbell will still be there in the early second round, waste of a pick to choose these 2. Take McCain with 9th, smart choice. Norwood, Paul have potential, but I would take Lefevour with 41st overall. Hardy is a good pick in the 3rd. I don't see Pike making it into the 4th rd, he wont be there.
Lofton80 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 The team has no true LT. The only way to get an adequate one is to draft him. I think #9 has to be a LT. Baluga is intriguing, he sounds like a mean, nasty type that would compliment the Wood, Levitre, Icognito group.

So far whathe is best known for is being Marshawns friend. and having a great rep based on...???? Dude, St. Johnson has 12 career catches. He is a proven NFL talent, and will be the one that spearheads this team's return from obscurity. For all of the griping that everybody at OBD is clueless, the amount of support that people give SJ is amazing.
Throwback Bills Posted January 18, 2010 Author Posted January 18, 2010 Davis and Campbell will be gone in top 15 picks. If we go after Baluga, then we should trade down, because he is not worth top ten $$$ and that's Ok. I still say forget the glamour /skill positions and draft to proctect passer and stop run. I hope we use all our top 5 picks to do that.
Throwback Bills Posted January 18, 2010 Author Posted January 18, 2010 As for Steve Johnson does anyone know the amount of times thrown to vs. catches? I bet it's better the you think and then add TD's and he may project out some great #'s
Thurman#1 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Another McClain lover! The kids good but c'mon, can he score or block? We need offense with our first pick.....period. Period? Nah, maybe a comma or a semi-colon. We need TALENT with our first pick ... period.
