What was Young's glaring hole ? Retiring with the best QB rating of all time?
First off, stats are for losers. :thumbsup:

 

Many glaring holes in Steve Young's resume:

1. Bust with Tampa Bay

2. Sat behind the great Joe Montana for many years.

3. Unimpressive in many big games until his Super Bowl winning year (finally got the monkey off his back)

 

To a lesser degree:

4. Known homo in San Francisco (not that it really matters but)

5. Horrible commentator on ESPN zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

 

Now, I will not begrudge him from the HOF, cause he was a lot of fun to watch play... but I can't place him anywhere near the top of the list.
