gobillsinytown
Take it somewhere else please Mr. Fox News. W. started us down this path by putting us in 2 wars, taking a massive surplus left by Bill and turning it into a massive deficit, and the overseeing the destruction of our economy in the months before leaving office. And also, HE started the HUGE bailout program (ie socialism) to ensure his butt buddies at Goldman Sachs got massive bailout plus the pay-through from AIG which was essentially free money for them. Now, about the Bills..... Agree. This is a comment board about the Buffalo Bills. There is an "off topic" board for the political stuff. Use it. NobesBLO13
Wrong-o fella. The DB or Corner position is one of the highest salary wise positions in football. Second highest on D. The second highest paid player in the NFL on defense is a cornerback. Good ol Nate Clements. But i guess facts are overrated. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/gal.../5/11/index.htm Your statements are not only false but ludicris and lack fact as well. Can you back them up. Im tired of this sh*t being thrown aorund and no one providing factual evidence that any of this is happening. Drafting a bust on purpose? C'mon man maybe it's you who has to get a clue. +1 and may I add you have the greatest avatar on TSW

First of all for those on the left, note that most Republicans were also very disappointed with Bush, so no argument there. You're not gonna get any traction pointing the finger at Bush. None. He sucked, we know that. Obama is on record that he supports a single payer health care system, that he believes in a bottom up economy and that large businesses need to be heavily regulated. He vigorously supported an $800 billion stimulus package that has not and will not work even though it was not supported by the majority of Americans and even though top economists said it was a poor approach to our problem. He is now supporting and championing a large, tax laden, expensive government takeover of our health care system. He has done these things and others at a level of expense that greatly acclerates and deepens our national debt. He is pushing his agenda of social and economic justice (his words not mine) at any and all cost. Hisactions support all of this as fact. I challenge you to defend the actions and decisions of this President (as positives) with numbers and facts when weighing the costs and the benefits. . I challenge you to defend how tax increases and spending money we don't have benefits our nation a a whole. I challenge you to defend his actions as the best possible solutions to the issues he is adressing and has addressed.

Mr. effing Sarah Palin get pregnant when you're ovfer 40 and KNOW you're not going to get an obortion no matter what, and now society is saddled with a basket case forever? This isn't the forum to argue it, but feel free to PM me at your leisure and save everyone else from reading your drivel. Keep in mind, the cost of fighting a war in Iraq has surpassed $700B. Think we could improve our 37th ranked healthcare with that sort of funding? Douchebag. Amen to Astrojanitor. The use of the term "socialist" just goes to show the true ignorance of many on the right (or at least the vocal ones). It's in the same way those the left called Bush a fascist. It's pure hyperbole. Again though, this isn't the forum for it. My apologies.

But i guess facts are overrated. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/vault/gal.../5/11/index.htm Your statements are not only false but ludicris and lack any kind of backing as well. Can you back them up. Im tired of this sh*t being thrown aorund and no one providing factual evidence that any of this is happening. Drafting a bust on purpose? C'mon man maybe it's you who has to get a clue. He isn't completely wrong, although the "busts on purpose" comment is a bit out there. Pass rushing defensive ends, left tackles and quarterbacks go earlier in the draft than secondary players, thus their initial cost is generally higher. Levy and Jauron were inept to the point that they chose to take a down trodden team and rebuild it through the secondary, actually giving away picks in this indescribably stupid process. Success was not possible, even if Whitner and McKelvin played almost as good as their draft slots (which they obviously have not) because the Bills are too small and weak to be a successful NFL team. Ya gotta like Byrd, but even he was a shaky selection, in that the team who selected AFTER us traded out for Carolina's 1st round pick in 2010. We could have really used that pick because we are not looking good at QB, OT, DT, and even DE. These are very hard positions to fill. We have a glut of defensive backs and a poor record. This is reality. The Levy/Jauron Era was marked by idiocy, senility, ineptitude, poor coaching, and a meddling owner.

Lenigmusx
I agree about the avatar but the guy as a point. Greer, Winfield, Jimmy Leohnard, Pat Williams, all are playing deep in January this year and they all were developed by the Bills. April will be fixing Philly ST this year, Perry will be doing a good job in NY, etc. etc ad nauseum. But, good noews, at least we still have Modrak, Guy, and Brandon! Only one of those players is better than the talent we currently have at their position. Pat Williams. Greer is not as good as McGee, McKevlin, Youbouty or Corner and Byrd, Whitner, Wilson and Scott are all better than Jim Leonard. Other than Williams the other players are just in the right places at the right time. It's kind of like making at hit record in that respect the talent is all pretty good but some musicians end up in the right clubs on the right nights. This is simply how it works. "The firm tends to give most of its money to Democrats. A number of high-ranking government officials in recent years have spent part of their careers at Goldman Sachs." In fact they were Obama's 2nd largest PAC contributor. AIG donated more than twice as much to Obama than McCain. Obama collected a total of $130,000 from AIG in 2008, while McCain accepted a total of $59,499. It is Clinton we can thank for forcing banks to be more lax in their mortgage lending standards which is the biggest reason our economy took a ****.
