vincec Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I go for it. Chargers haven't stopped the Jets in short yardage yet.
earthtobrint Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 FG? Go for it? Punt? I would go for it to end it or maybe kick the field goal. A punt wouldn't gain many net yards.
Kgun5 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I would go for it, too. I actually hope he makes it for the good of football coahcing.
Kgun5 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 The bottom line is that a FG doesn't end the game.
Bob in STL Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 FG? Go for it? Punt? I called this as a 4th down possiblity. Turner did not think of all options. If they were deep the Jets would be punting.
WWVaBeach Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 It is now OVER...the fat lady is singing her ass off.
Dan Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 game over. Question now... will the Colts regret letting the Jets stay alive back in week 16?
Mark Vader Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 God I hope Manning and the Colts shred this team next week.
earthtobrint Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Too bad Jauron isn't coaching the Jets. He would've punted.
Bob in STL Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I go for it. Chargers haven't stopped the Jets in short yardage yet. You said you doubted it on 4th and 1?
Kgun5 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Being aggressve is a winning strategy. Get me a coach that knows that, and I'm on board.
Georgia Bill Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 God I hope Manning and the Colts shred this team next week. I keep waiting for the Jets we played to show up - with all the bad decisions/interceptions. But they are playing really tough (and smart) dammit. I think the Colts are going to have their hands full.
Talley56 Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Too bad Jauron isn't coaching the Jets. He would've punted. Or he would have had Sanchez roll out, get hit, fumble the ball, and watch the Chargers return it all the way and win.
Mark Vader Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I wonder how Nate Kaeding feels? Gee, I can't even begin to imagine how he feels.
ofiba Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Gotta think the Colts are happy about this. They wanted no part of the Chargers.
notwoz Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 I wonder how Nate Kaeding feels? He's probably wondering what the unemployment benefits are like in California.
Bob in STL Posted January 18, 2010 Posted January 18, 2010 Too bad Jauron isn't coaching the Jets. He would've punted. He would have had to. His end around on 2nd and 9 would have lost 6 yards.
