earthtobrint
If they don't' convert. Do you kick the FG here? Yep.

Dan
Onside kick That's my next question. I say. yes.
vincec
Onside kick Of course. Give yourself 2 chances to get the ball back.
Bob in STL
Not over yet. 17-14 Nice job by Rivers getting his team set and running a quick count QB sneak. The Jets were not set for it.
Dan
Yeah but man with 3 missed FGs the Charges must get a TD That's kinda what I was thinking. With all those missed FGs... go for the TD. Fortunate for Norv it didn't come to that.
WWVaBeach
Damn that was a good kick!
Mark Vader
Why did they onside kick? They still have the 2 minute warning?
Bob in STL
Damn that was a good kick! Very high kick but only one blue shirt on the play.
ofiba
Why did they onside kick? They still have the 2 minute warning? Give yourself more chances to get the ball? Even a Jets field goal doesn't kill you here.
Mark Vader
Give yourself more chances to get the ball? Even a Jets field goal doesn't kill you here. But even if they stop them, the Chargers are faced with a very long field.
ExiledInIllinois
Why did they onside kick? They still have the 2 minute warning? I thoughht the same thing... It really doesn't matter where the Jets are on the field: "Of course. Give yourself 2 chances to get the ball back." It was the right choice. Steely Dan
If they don't' convert. Do you kick the FG here? Kaeding is hoping they wont have to. Stupid call on the onside kick. There is more than enough time to get the ball back. Now the Jests have great field position and can make SD have to score a TD in order to win if the Jests just get a field goal and the Jests can probably put the final nail in the coffin with a TD. Bob in STL
Give yourself more chances to get the ball? Even a Jets field goal doesn't kill you here. But now the Jets are in 4 down territory on a 4th and 1. Ryan is a gambler and he will challenge his #1 running game.

Jim in Anchorage
Nice job by Rivers getting his team set and running a quick count QB sneak. The Jets were not set for it. He shouldn't have needed to. It was in on the catch before.
