Pine Barrens Mafia Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I know I'm usually tough on TD and company, but I definitely like one thing they've done: THE SPECIAL TEAMS ARE BACK... I can't remember a time since tasker and pike called it quits that we had such a dangerous special teams. Kudos to the peeps at OBD for finally getting a ST coach that can coach and players that can stay in their lanes.
Campy Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 THE SPECIAL TEAMS ARE BACK...128359[/snapback] Special Teams are exciting to watch again - for all of the right reasons! I remember posters coming out of the woodwork ripping April when Mularkey hired him. I wonder if they've changed their tune?
Mark VI Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 When was the last time our Kick Returners had 4 TD's in 10 games ? Plus the blocking and tackling is just fantastic. Anyone notice how good Angelo Crowell is on ST's (#55). He is hitting and tackling like a madman. Even Jason Peters made 2 tackles and recovered a fumble on STs yesterday ( After Eric Flowers tried to catch a kickoff...(snicker) )
ExiledInIllinois Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Ahhhh MAN! JSP chimed in... The Bills are billsfanone from here on in on ST's Sorry Joe! Your statistics speak for themselves! "THE SPECIAL TEAMS ARE BACK..." ~JSP There has got to be some anti-venom for this out there!!!
Just Jack Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Now if we can just get the players to quit bundling up on the sidelines. Yesterday was not that bad for temperature, but you would think it was 10 below the way some of them were dress in their long winter coats.
