aussiew Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Better than the stuff they use down here in Dallas.
Astrojanitor Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I would inject it directly into my veins if I could
Phlegm Alley Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I hate that "fresh" taste in my mouth after I brush my teeth, so I usually rinse with Frank's and I feel fan-freakin-tastic!
stevestojan Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Honestly, its about time someone started a thread for Frank's. Its so damn good. Not much else I can say.

Jim in Anchorage Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I used to buy a hot sauce made in Clarance called "Armageddon". Hotter than Franks but still tasty and not so vinegary.I would always pick up a few bottles at Wegman's to take home when I was in WNY visiting. I don't think it was ever distributed anywhere but locally. I looked high and low last time I was there last time and couldn't find any. I think it is discontinued

Jim in Anchorage Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I frequently peruse the hot sauce section in Weggies and haven't seen it. I think it's been 10 years since I last saw it. Shame, it was the best habanero sauce I ever found.

dib Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 It's so good that I lick my moustache after I eat wings just to repeat the flavor
Jim in Anchorage Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Is this it? Same name but I don't think so. I am sure it was made in Clarence. I think they may have folded because of distribution problems. I never saw it anywhere but WNY. My brother is trying to get me to move back to WNY to create a specialty garlic farm, of all things. Maybe I could grow peppers on the side and make my own hot sauce? Talk about loving your job Also this would be in Cattaraugus County grape country
Steely Dan Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 I would inject it directly into my veins if I could I ran out of Franks once and I was so pissed off!! It was late at night and I had to go to Wegmans!!! This stuff is made in western New York and it will put hair on your chest. Damn it's good!! http://peppers.com/cube/Hot-Sauces/Smuggle.../prod_1036.html
DrFishfinder Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Got really overpriced a few years ago. Good stuff, but didn't warrant the price jack. Crystal is a good substitute at about 1/2 the price.

Lt. Dan's Revenge Posted January 15, 2010 Posted January 15, 2010 Very delicious. I used to know someone who would drink it straight from the bottle. Half a bottle at a time. I was amazed because I usually only do that sort of thing with whiskey...
