Ever Since '86 Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Smart move on his behalf, it actually looks like Snyder is staying out of the way.
WVUFootball29 Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Smart move on his behalf, it actually looks like Snyder is staying out of the way. For now
drewfla Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 On the relief front as well, the Bengals just re-upped Mike Zimmer for three more years as DC. Cowher, Garrett, Schottenheimer or Bust!
DarthICE Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Adam S. just reported that Jim Haslett has accepted a job as the Redskins' defensive coordinator. Good luck Jim! Well I am sure Ralph and his clowns are upset they can't interview that loser
NY Nole Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 If he's the best DC that Shanny could get, I'm glad we didn't get Shanahan.
zazie Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 If he's the best DC that Shanny could get, I'm glad we didn't get Shanahan. true that! HAslett was a good linebacker. Full stop.
San Jose Bills Fan Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 If he's the best DC that Shanny could get, I'm glad we didn't get Shanahan. The Redskins wanted Romeo Crennel but he looks like he's headed to KC. They also wanted Mike Zimmer before he decided to stay in Cinci. They apparently chose Haslett over former Bills' DC Jerry Gray. So at best, Haslett was their 3rd choice.

NobesBLO13 Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Haslett would love to be our HC, but RW has BIGGER things in store... COWHER!!! As sick as I am of the Cowher stuff this was actually pretty funny

Red Squirrel Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I tore Haslett down pretty good in another thread, but if he can turn LaRon Landry into a player, I might change my mind. That dud makes Whitner look like a HoFer. (I meant to type "dude" and it accidentally came out "dud"; what do they call that, a Freudian typo?)
murra Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I want to see a show of hands by the folks who have had two people stricken off their list by the Redskins having signed them. Come on, don't be shy. I saw a couple, "We need Haslett" threads this month.
billsfreak Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Haslett would love to be our HC, but RW has BIGGER things in store... COWHER!!! The only thing BIGGER that Ralph has in store is his EARS~

Red Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 Adam S. just reported that Jim Haslett has accepted a job as the Redskins' defensive coordinator. Good luck Jim! I'm happy for the Redskins. They are building a winner. I'm slightly bummed that the Bills are not breaking greater ground, as I would love to see the elder Schottenheimer calling the shots, his son as assistant head coach/ offensive coordinator and Haslett as defensive coordinator. Ralph has said that there is no rush to hire a head coach. While I feel that this is a prudent choice, we are losing out on the assistants out there. There won't be much of a staff left for a potential head coach to hire.
