Chandler#81
Here in the 'Nooga, we've seen a $.30 rise in 10 days, to $2.70/gal, with no end in sight. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I long for the days when they added BS reasoning: Hurricanes, expected heavy vacation seasons, etc. According to this little item, $3.00+/gal is just around the corner... AGAIN! http://money.cnn.com/2010/01/11/news/econo...rices/index.htm Bastages!
Just Jack
According to this little item, $3.00+/gal is just around the corner... AGAIN! Saw $3.09 near NYC yesterday. Surprisingly, the farther out I went on Long Island, the cheaper it got, even cheaper than Syracuse, $2.83 vs $2.
BuffaloBud
Gas is traded worldwide on the US dollar. As the value of the dollar has moved up or down, then the price of gas moves.
/dev/null
Weak dollar plus an increased demand for heating oil as a result of the current cold spell has driven the price of a barrel over $

We do millions of tons of asphalt shipped through just our little section of the Illinois Waterway... Just wait till that asphalt can't be shipped anymore via that method... The price should go up higher.
