Rico Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 I don't remember any Bills TE ever doing that. NICE GAME, CAMPBELL!!!
Ball'n Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 DREWS STARTING TO REALIZE THAT THROWING TO A TE MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA IN THE RED ZONE.
Greg de'Ville Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 ...yep, it is a new Bills standard. Nice that BDDB gave Campbell a chance to catch the ball again after a three-week hiatus.
richNjoisy Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 how many did Metzalaars have vs San franciso 3 or 4?
gantrules Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 How about the fact that Campbell actually learned how to hold on to the ball rather than blaming Drew. Drew has never had a problem hitting TE's or FB's or RB's when they get involved with the passing game.

Bledsoe isn't a progression QB. He's a pre-read, sling the ball QB. Unfortunately, his pre-reads aren't even that good. When the coaching staff told Bledsoe to get the ball out in 4 seconds, that meant make your reads in 4 seconds. Drew took it to mean, stare at Moulds for 3 seconds and gun the ball. He did what he needed to do today, but I don't expect this guy is capable of carrying the team, ala Manning or Favre, again.
aussiew Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 how many did Metzalaars have vs San franciso 3 or 4? I thought it was only two. Then there was another he caught on about the 5 yard line and then it was run in I think.

Congratulations to Campbell for getting the hat trick today, and it's good to see him getting the ball again. After all he did have 2 TD's coming into this game already.
