Coach Tuesday Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Hilarious. Can't they just fold up the tent?
ACor58 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I am not sure why this is so shocking to some people: - The Bills have a very bitter, meddling owner. - Not a single decent QB on the roster - An offenseive line that is a complete mess The chance of failure in Buffalo is far too great.
CountDorkula Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 {sigh} . I guess in this case no news would have been better then this news.

It's not shocking. It's pathetic. I really wish the Bills would move so I could root for another team.
zow2 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Bummer. I'd get Billick on the phone now before the reality sets in that he is getting slighted by the pathetic Bills and turns down a future interview. They need to at least interview some proven NFL coaches to compare against Fewell and Frazier.
Jerry Jabber Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 The only possible big name coach we could get would be Marty Schottenheimer (that's if Nix can talk him out of retirement). Otherwise, we're gonna get another coordinator for HC.

It's hilarious that these jamokes (not sure if Rivera fits into that category yet) need a complete team before they'll agree to take it over. Good riddance.
bfw1234 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 why doesn't Cowher turn them down then??? maybe these other guys suspect they're second choice and don't want to be that?? maybe they know a billboard is up re Cowher?? this is awkward
Fewell733 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 uh, ok? he declined Seahawks too early in the game. Could be he's waiting for his season to be done. Or its possible he doesn't want to be a head coach. Given his fall from Chicago, it wouldn't be that surprising actually. Why does it feel like so many people on this board are just looking for an excuse to throw themselves into oncoming traffic?
RkFast Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I guess all you idiots failed to note he turned down the Seattle interview, too. Ya know...that team out there that plays in wonderful weather, with a bad ownership situation controlled by a bitter guy with no money and is "cheap."
BLZFAN4LIFE Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 That's pretty pathetic when a guy like Ron Rivera says thanks, but no thanks to a head coach opportunity.
Endzone Animal Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Ralph may be regretting his decision not to retain Fewell...or to fire Jauron, for that matter.
BillnutinHouston Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Why does it feel like so many people on this board are just looking for an excuse to throw themselves into oncoming traffic? Buffalo's inferiority complex is in full bloom these days.
nero47 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 If you don't interview, you won't get another chance. Sounds like Rivera has found his level. Content to be DC and nothing more. DJ appears set to catch on as DC somewhere, same with Fewell. Although you may fail as HC, does not mean you will stay unemployed. i.e. Mangini, Weiss, crennel, etc. Our problem has not been spending money, it has been not spending wisely and not drafting wisely. Both elements depend on the type system the coaching staff puts in place.
BillsWatch Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 It's not shocking. It's pathetic. I really wish the Bills would move so I could root for another team. It doesn't appear that you do root for Bills so it is not stopping you now. Why does it feel like so many people on this board are just looking for an excuse to throw themselves into oncoming traffic? Too many or not enough?
BLZFAN4LIFE Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Ralph may be regretting his decision not to retain Fewell...or to fire Jauron, for that matter. There is a point to be made about letting Fewell and April go now. What a joke.
ACor58 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 It's hilarious that these jamokes (not sure if Rivera fits into that category yet) need a complete team before they'll agree to take it over. Good riddance. It's not that so much as it is just a set-up for failure.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 I hope everyone realizes that our HC job is down to Leslie Frazier and Brian Schottenheimer (maybe). Yikes, we've fallen far.
Beerball Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 http://blogs.buffalobills.com/2010/01/11/rivera-declined/ He declinded to be interviewed until after his team is eliminated or has won the SB. link
