cåblelady Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 So what is acceptable to throw at people and what is not?I just want to know what I can bring to throw at some of you so you won't come and kick my A$$. 131743 We'll have to ask the crap-throwing monkey.
Paco Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 Why did you skip number 2? Is it because you realize that if a crime of a physical nature such as battery is committed against someone they have the right to defend themselves perhaps? Not trying to bust your balls, just want to see what you have to say to that. 131593 Not for nothing BF, but if you think what happened to Artest was a crime of physical nature, then you better head to the hospital and have them get a rape kit out because your logic is absolutely getting butt-fugged here.

Dan Gross Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 The Nicolette incidentThe Artest brawl Maybe i'm a sick person but i think there is so many more scandalous things happening in this World than that... Overreaction is becoming the norm and that's a little frightning. 131764 Yeah, I know, these "skirmishes" and "apparently naked ladies" don't hold a candle to European soccer matches...
Dan Gross Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 What have I learned from this? If I'm a fan at a game and the game is effectively "over" (the point at which people head toward the exits), I pretty much am given carte blanche to start firing projectiles at the players (with the limit being somewhere between a plastic cup full of liquid and a chair). If I get caught, the worst that should happen is that security finds me and escorts me out. No big deal, game's over anyway, I got what I paid for, so there's no real consequence for doing this (pending I'm not a season ticket holder...). Cool.
mead107 Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 325 post on an assclown and counting 326, 327, 328...........................donn't let them play any more

Maybe too much? A can of Pepsi? How about a chair?

Pete Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 Indiana high school student slashes 8- was that you BF? http://www.cnn.com/2004/US/11/24/school.st...g.ap/index.html What was the motive? Plastic cup?
stevestojan Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 Well plastic cups seem to be ok, I wonder how an unopened plastic beer bottle would be? Maybe too much? A can of Pepsi? How about a chair? 132197 you can't make the progression from plastic cup to chair like that. That's like saying "a guy in my office flung a rubber band at me, I want him fired, because who knows, next might be an AK-47!" The guy that threw the chair should be arrested. The guy that hit artest with the plastic cup? I honestly don't think anything should happen to him. If he had thought a RIOT would break out because of it, I doubt he would have done it. He did it because Artest was being a dick (laying down on the scorer's table). He threw a plastic cup of water. At most he should get a fine for disturbing the peace or some crap like that. BF, I love when you post, because the logic you use is really so far off that it always makes me laugh.

This guy deserves punishment from the Pistons AT LEAST. He had his season tickets revoked already. He also needs to serve a few days in jail. I can't believe you lay NO BLAME on this person.

Maybe you are embarrassed? 132287 no...there a dick fans everywhere...just like there are dick players everywhere...it was an ugly incident, everyone is guilty...I've moved on. A flagrant foul, Wallace got pissed, retaliated and it should have ended there. I chose not to look like an idiot by carrying on in this thread (although I reserve the right to be an idiot in the future)
