Nevergiveup Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Nothing solid. It has just been very quiet regarding Mornhingweg. Kind of surprising considering all the other coaches that have been mentioned.

Nevergiveup Posted January 10, 2010 Author Posted January 10, 2010 its too early to be this hammered, you do remember he chose to kick when he won an overtime coin toss, right? Not advocating for the guy. Though I do like an offensive minded coach. I am sure we could dig up some interesting decisions from when Bellicheck was in Cleveland. Just putting it out there. It has been strangely quiet on him. Even thought they were just eliminated there has been talk about McDermott.
Chi-town Bills Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 You must have a subscription to ESPN the Magazine, they just did a story on him.
Nevergiveup Posted January 10, 2010 Author Posted January 10, 2010 You must have a subscription to ESPN the Magazine, they just did a story on him. I did see that, but that is not why. Very little chatter. Guess it could mean he is getting no consideration, but I dont know how you discuss McDermott with mentioning him.
realtruelove Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Of all the coaches in the world, he has to be the worst. Child, PLLLLLLLEASE
Guest three3 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 yes morninwheg seems like a typical ralph wilson !@#$up decision
cage Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 You must have a subscription to ESPN the Magazine, they just did a story on him. I'm surprised the ESPN story wasn't discussed here. While not advocating for Morhinweg in any way, the story put together a compelling case...
Coach Tuesday Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Would have to switch to a WC offense with a new QB, no less. If they draft a QB (as opposed to trading for Kolb) it would set them back about 3-5 years given the complexity of that offense. Ralph doesn't have a long time left on the planet, so I'd say it's not a high likelihood. Oh and the fans would revolt in epic proportions.
vincec Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Better off giving it to Frazier or Fewell than him.
Chi-town Bills Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I think Buffalo needs a HC that gets this team motivated... Mornhinweg won't do that. We need to light a fire under this team. We have good talent, better then some teams that did better then us and alot better then teams that did worse.
jwolf02 Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I can't remember who was on FOX Sports Radio, either Glazer or Lombardi's kid, but they discussed him a few weeks ago and had nothing but glowing things to say about him. They had me convinced.
silvermike Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 He seems like a guy who can run an offense but not a team. That said, the Lions were a black hole with no talent. I'd be inclined to give him, Mariucci, Marinelli, and Schwartz a pass.
