SDS Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 In their Jim Mora story on SC - they referred to the Seahawks -8 turnover DIFFERENTIAL. That could be the 1st time I have ever seen that stat referred to in the correct manner by a major media source.

silvermike Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 You mean the Seahawks didn't give the ball away -8 times for each opposing fumble or interception?
turftoe Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 You mean the Seahawks didn't give the ball away -8 times for each opposing fumble or interception? Not quite. For each negative give-away there must be a positive take-away. Simmply add the negative fumbles and interceptions, remembering to subtract the positive take aways. Remember, the key is to remember that when you subtract a negative from a positive, you add a positive.
Sisyphean Bills Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 It's OK. They're in the -8th percentile. [sic]
