San-O Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 With the 9th pick in the NFL draft the Bills select......some guy who was a late 1st prospect. ========================== Or an oversized Safety with a high motor that the organization feels has a lot of potential to play Guard The Bills seem to enjoy picking 'tweeners with high round picks. I've never understood it. Seems like instead of drafting for solid value, they are always trying to catch lightning in a bottle, and never do.

USABuffaloFan Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 I wasn't all that impressed with Rolando McCain last night. He might be a product of a great system loaded with talent. I dont think there is QB that is a slam dunk. If we are moving to a 3-4 look for them to draft to fill holes... probably need a big run stuffer. Nix has already stated his philosophy is to draft the best available player no matter the position. You can't have enough great players, they can be developed and traded if needed.

PromoTheRobot Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 With the 9th pick in the NFL draft the Bills select: Ndamukong Suh! He is been taken a little bit of a beating recently from the press, rather than the fawning over him before. Bills swoop in and take advantage. Nix sees the potential in Suh. With Suh, Stroud and Williams we will have the deepest DL in the league! Wow! Ya'think?? Nobody sees the potential in the guy who every draft pundit is picking to go #1 in the draft. You are amazing! Did you figure this out all by yourself or did mom enter "Ndamukong" into Google for you? PTR
Adam Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 With the 9th pick in the NFL draft the Bills select: Ndamukong Suh! He is been taken a little bit of a beating recently from the press, rather than the fawning over him before. Bills swoop in and take advantage. Nix sees the potential in Suh. With Suh, Stroud and Williams we will have the deepest DL in the league! If we got Suh, I would be ecstatic, but the goal is to be four deep at starting caliber DT's, we still need more. You have to be that deep, as offenses are relying on more passing and further outside the offensive tackle box, which will wear the DL out more than in the past. Currently, we are not good enough on the defensive line, regardless of what the homers think about Aaron Schobel- he has often been compared to Phil Hansen, but I think he is closer to Jim Jeffcoat. And to those who think that is a slight to Schobel, I say this- LEARN YOUR FOOTBALL! If the opportunity to work on the defensive and offensive lines presents itself, I lean towards the defensive side of the ball, as that is not a strength, but it is closer to being a strength than the offensive side of the ball. You win in this league by being good at something, not ok at everything
Bills(70) Posted January 13, 2010 Posted January 13, 2010 With the 9th pick in the first round of the 2010 NFL Miller Lite Sponsored Draft Day 1 Events, the Buffalo Bills Select.......................Some obscure guy from a c rated college in the middle of Montana. This draft selection is a second cousin, twice removed of that great former Bills QB.....................J.P. Losman And the nightmare continues................................................
