PromoTheRobot
The Bills never contacted him. This is a face-saving move. PTR
Arkady Renko
There's nothing new in this article. Schott Jr. would never be talking about other jobs when he is preparing for the playoffs and cannot be interviewed anyway.
Beastly Dareus
Brain Schottenheimer is a few years away from becoming a Head coach i think I doubt he will take a HC job right now

Beastly Dareus
Again, I ask...but Leslie Frazier is different, because? Again Leslie Frazier has a bye week in the playoffs, therefore he is able to interview but must seek permission from his team to sign a contract before they are removed from the playoffs. reddogblitz
Good. I'm glad he's not interested. Brian Billick is. Sometimes you gotta go to the dance with the one that wants to go with you and stop chasing the ones that don't.
RayFinkle
http://www.latimes.com/sports/football/nfl...0,6288431.story Brian can not be contacted yet. Do you expect him to say anything other than he loves the Jets a day before one of the biggest games of his coaching career?
bbb
This doesn't sound like Sr. is definitely "DONE" "He's told me for the last probably two years that he's done," Brian Schottenheimer said. "I think if it was the right job, I think he would listen, but at the end of the day, it would take a heck of a lot to convince him to come off the golf course and go back to work." papazoid
i honestly think that the bills are waiting for Cowher to accept the bills job. if cowher removes himself from the bills job, Nix will immediately make contact with Marty. i think it would be embarrassing to Marty to get him dangling, only to pull the rug out from under him if cowher says yes. Chick Marmelade
That article is two days old. Who knows what RB and Nix are doing except flying to Hickory and buying furniture from High Point... Ralph has apparently authorized an unlimited budget for new office furniture!

Marty's own son was just quoted 3 days ago as saying it was possible, i would say next to marty's wife, his own son has the most credible and reliable insight into his fathers thinking: "He's told me for the last probably two years that he's done," Brian Schottenheimer said.
