PromoTheRobot Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Jay_Glazer i am reporting seattle fired jim mora. should've given the man another year. decimated by injuries, gm quits. Bill Cowher is breathing a sigh of relief. PTR
loyal2dagame Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Bill Cowher is breathing a sigh of relief. PTR not if he already signed with a confidentiality agreement that said signing not be annouced until his season at cbs is over.
Fingon Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Seattle doesn't have a QB or LT... just like the Bills. How is that job any different?
NobesBLO13 Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 not if he already signed with a confidentiality agreement that said signing not be annouced until his season at cbs is over. wow
In space no one can hear Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Seattle doesn't have a QB or LT... just like the Bills. How is that job any different? Well for starters- Paul Allen doesn't follow the "cash to crap" philosophy that Wilson and his lackeys have implemented with the Bills. That is a big, big difference.
BillsGuyInMalta Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Bill Cowher is breathing a sigh of relief. PTR Best news in the world for Bill Cowher...now he's not stuck.
Mike in Syracuse Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Seattle doesn't have a QB or LT... just like the Bills. How is that job any different? In terms of the shape of the football team they're almost identical however Seattle is an amazing city. Has an uber wealthy owner and HUGE corporate dollars. But you can't get farther from NC than Seattle!
Fewell733 Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I wonder how attractive a job is Seattle? Great city, but geographically it's really far from everywhere but itself. East coasters may be less inclined to uproot and move 3,000 miles away for a job when they can take an hour flight to Buffalo from where they call home. Just a thought.
Curse Of Rusty Jones Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Cue the posters who will now track flights from Seattle to NC
Stealth Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Cue the posters who will now track flights from Seattle to NC Moving secretly along your skys, you'll never find me
Fingon Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Well for starters- Paul Allen doesn't follow the "cash to crap" philosophy that Wilson and his lackeys have implemented with the Bills. That is a big, big difference. Not really. Seattle traded one of their LBs away because they didn't want to pay him. Remind you of any moves the Bills have made?

scribo Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Flights from his home in N.C. to Buffalo = just more than 90 minutes From N.C. to Seattle = Six hours (plus time change)
Phlegm Alley Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Add the fact that Cowher wouldn't have to face Bellicheat twice a year and could have an easier time turning that team around more quickly in that garbage division. There has to be someone lined up as a successor for Allen to do this for the same reasons Glazer has cited.
