Wilson from Gamehendge Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 I like him as well but does he have alot of connections to assemble a good staff? Thats the question I have regarding him He most likely does... ...but I bet his Dad's people are better and would be willing to come in and help him out. Shoot, maybe his Dad would even come in to help him. Think: Brian - HC Mike Martz or Ron Rivera - OC Ted Cottrell - DC or something along those lines.
OldTimer1960 Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 Brian Schottenheimer is the least qualified of the tattered lot of assistants that the Bills will be picking from. Since Russ Grimm has refused to even interview, I *guess* Leslie Frazier is probably the most accomplished of the remaining lot. Maybe Ron Rivera *might* be OK. Assuming Cowher isn't interested and assuming the Bills aren't interested in Billick, the Bills will be training a rookie head coach next year - complete with the same stupid BS we've witnessed from Jauron, Fewell, Mularkey etc. Penalties and poor clock management again!
Beastly Dareus Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 He most likely does... ...but I bet his Dad's people are better and would be willing to come in and help him out. Ron Rivera as OC would be a disaster considering Rivera is a defensive guy (Chicago and present: San Diego)
Wilson from Gamehendge Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Ron Rivera as OC would be a disaster considering Rivera is a defensive guy (Chicago and present: San Diego) Who am I thinking of then? Ron Turner? Anyways...better yet, Cam Cameron as OC and Kurt Schottenheimer as DC.
Wilson from Gamehendge Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 there are some GREAT names on this coaching tree... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marty_Schottenheimer
