sharper802 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 What a joke! Yes he is the best KR in the NFL and maybe he was the best player on the Browns this year after they let Braylon Edwards and Kellen Winslow go. But NFL history is littered with guys who burst on the scene as great returners and then fade away. They almost never make major contributions elsewhere, and even when they do their return opportunities diminish; ie. Terrnece McGee. In an uncapped year I would probably end up overpaying for Cribbs but if the cap were still in effect no way I overpay for a KR. Dante Hall - never made the transition to WR Devin Hester - decent WR at best Desmond Howard - never a good WR Deion Sanders - the exception that proves the rule Mel Gray Eric Metcalf Roscoe Parrish
zazie Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 what about terrance mcgee? Yes Terrance became too good a player, could no longer be risked as return man. Whatever happened with his lawsuit against Jerry Gray?
Dennis in NC Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 what about terrance mcgee? Dude, you spelled it wrong, too. Wise guy. Terrence is the correct spelling.
